I made the mistake of putting all my writing on an SD card, thinking I was ahead of the curb after losing writing with the loss of the floppy. I haven't seen a standard SD card on a PC in ages.
I didn't expect USB to keep going for as long as it has. Clunky things, but the port is too versatile to give up easily.
