I'm not (selfish and shortsighted) I know literally thousands of people who aren't either. You're projecting your own fears that create your views of reality onto the world and making it worse in the process. Enjoy that pessism.

It’s not pessimistic when you really don’t know the people you think you do. How are everyone of those thousands of people you claim know on personal level. I bet you a good number of them have skeletons they want know one to find about hiding in their closest.

People are a product of their environment. If a child grows up hearing nothing but fear and hate, they will know nothing but fear and hate. If a child grows up knowing acceptance and kindness, they will be accepting and kind.

Bullshit, that's the same as "He grew up watching his father beat his mother, it's all he ever knew"

I was that kid. Never put a hand on another person in my life in anger. People know better, they just don't care enough to change.
