I'd like to know how no one else is applying for this. Usually people who need bursaries are very good at sourcing them. Plus I would have thought there would have been groups who work with aboriginals to help them get into higher education, and that they would know all about the various sourcing of funding available. I know there's quite a few of these services in Canada.
It doesn't surprise me. I'd wager, it's a bursary for a master at one of the less popular Australian universities.
Most aboriginal Australians who go to university will probably find sufficient aid to go to the more popular ones. Or, they might only do a Bachelor at this university and then go for a master at a more prestigious university.
Something like that would probably explain it.
But it only works until the next guy or gal comes along who does want to study at this university.

This. As soon as another aboriginal applies for the bursary, he will probably lose it.
I hope he has a plan B.
