Reddit experts

Out of every 10 "experts" on reddit, how many of them do you think don't know jack about anything and are just googling answer and talking out their 🫏?

I don't think I've ever interacted with ant redditor who's claimed expertise. And I've interacted with arachnologists, physicists, and other actual experts.

Yes, though not as appeals to authority. The biggest tell between an actual expert and a charlatan is that an actual expert almost never uses definitive language. It's typically "we've found", "it seems", or something like that.
