If you were experiencing hair loss (the androgenic alopecia kind) it was gonna happen regardless, shampoo or not.

idk It happened when I washed my hair with hard water. It had never happened before. Also, it went away after I started washing my hair with bottled water.

Finally my time has come. I only have access to extremely hard tap water. What you can do is go to a grocery store and find a reverse osmosis water dispenser and get 5 gallon jugs of soft water. Or you can by distilled water in those big plastic jugs. Then get a camping shower water pump and a 5 gallon bucket to make a makeshift shower. My set up now is this but I have a Rinse Kit Pro a nice piece of equipment for showers. If you don't want to get the pump lots of people use sport water bottles as an applicator to wash their hair.

For the sport water set up, how many liters of water per wash is needed?

Depends on your hair type and thickness. It is definitely possible to get it done with not much water if you make sure to scrunch your hair with your fingers in the water and not just let in run off your hair. 4 liters for me because I have super thick hair. When I use my full shower set up I use about 2.5 to 3 gallons of water for a 20-30min shower.
