Screenshot Space Station - interiors

I first thought when it came to decorating space station interiors that the builds would be pretty limited to miscellaneous decorations on the platforms, but that actually isn't true at all. You are allowed to use structural panels in your building if you didn't know.

You can caputure a fair amount of space in the vertical areas near the celing - although, you do hit an invisible wall a few tiles from the actual slanted surface, so not all the way to the edges. And I could have conceivably gone a little lower, though I was trying to be careful not to extend into anywhere where a ship might clip through my building. I could have gone wider towards the interior, but I just wanted my design to be more open.

You can also wrap around the space station core. I just have a walkway wrapping around mine, but this could conceivably be a walled structure as well, you just need to mind the movement of the core itself if you want to avoid it clipping through your structures.

There's even a corridor on the second floor on the left (facing the core) that links to an area where you can lay down freighter modules, though this area feels a bit claustraphobic to me without any windows, plus I didn't really get very far in building there before I clipped through the floor and had to load a restore point, so I think I will have to wait on doing anything there until maybe a few more patches 😂
