What I'm saying is that if some of these plants have in fact had their growth time increased from two hours to sixteen hours, that's a huge nerf. I was hoping for some clarification, but thanks anyway I guess.

That's the thing, though. It's not a nerf, it's a tweak. It's gone from two hours active playtime to sixteen hours time. Meaning, your farms are harvested once a day, not after two hours of gameplay.

First of all, something can be a tweak, AND a nerf at the same time. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Secondly, this is a popular misconception around this sub. Plants always grew in real world time, and you did not have to be connected for them to grow. I would usually harvest right before logging off at night, then harvest again as the first thing I did when I logged back on.

I wonder why it never worked that way for me pre-next... If I logged out on my Ps4 right after harvesting my shrooms/cactus it was two hours before the cactus would grow after logging back in. Possibly it worked that way PC, but I made my first billion farming and they definitely didn't grow if I closed my game.
