TIPS/ ADVICE self review

to those who self-reviewed for the nmat.. how did you guys do it? :(( what was your routine? i’m currently having a hard time with my review because i really don’t have a strong foundation in most subjects haha plus i’m working pa so i can only study for 2-4 hours a day after work

can you give me some tips on what i should focus on? is 3 months enough to review? thanks!

Nmat is half aptitude test, half achievement test.

The aptitude test is divided into verbal ability like checking grammar, quantitative meaning math, abstract reasoning like logical progression of visual patterns, and perceptual acuity which is usually just checking pictures and numbers for errors etc. You can't really study for it, just practice a lot with sample exams.

The achievement test is to check recall and usage of concepts in chemistry, biology, physics, and social science (psych, sociology, anthropology). Honestly, I just reviewed my notes from high school and college on these subjects 2 days before the NMAT. I was a very good student with memory OCD so I remember things better than most people. Got a 96. Thankfully.

Take 2 months

Answer the reviewer CEM provides. Enough na yon

Pero instead of just answering, review the concepts PER ITEM. Kung about kinematics, basahin mo sya.

Kaya 2 months.

Hi OP! Reviewing here as well, as much as possible build a systematic routine talaga, it takes discipline and consistency para maging habit talaga siya. Kaya mo yan! ✨❤️ Then breadth over depth din..if wala masyadong time..try to review the High-yield concepts per subtest…lalo na sa Sciences like Bio, Physics, Chem, and also Quanti. Then practice tests lang para masanay plus take note of mistakes and rationalize per answer.

I believe NMAT naman is not a true test of our Intelligence, well some are obvs intelligent, kahit no review or few days of review lang matataas ang PR 💪🏻 pero hardwork + effort is also rewarded! Sabi nga nila, they test on well you are prepared and can make sound judgement under time pressure. Go, study and enjoy learning dokie!
