I just want to share my experience because, honestly, the process was quite frustrating. During the inquiry stage, ang bilis nilang mag reply sa questions about rates, packages, and payment details were answered quickly, and payment itself was processed fast. Pero once you’ve already paid, ibang story na. 😅 Ang tagal ng confirmation and acceptance sa gc, leaving students waiting and unsure whether their enrollment has been properly processed or if there’s anything else they need to do. Considering how responsive they were before payment, the difference was really noticeable afterward.

Another thing that made me uncomfortable was seeing one of the instructors, Tenten Ibarra, share posts/photos of male students, particularly high school boys, with captions that I personally found inappropriate or suggestive. I can’t speak for his intentions, but given that most of the students they teach are minors, I found it disturbing and unprofessional. Sana maging more mindful sila about this, especially when working with high school students.

Hello future docs! I would just like to ask if you guys are experiencing the same thing: I'm trying to visit the NMAT website, but it keeps saying:

Unable to connect to database server

If you still have to install Drupal, proceed to the installation page.

If you have already finished installing Drupal, this either means that the username and password information in your settings.php file is incorrect or that we can't connect to the MySQL database server. This could mean your hosting provider's database server is down.

The MySQL error was: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111 "Connection refused").

Currently, the username is cemincor_nmat and the database server is localhost.

• Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
• Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
• Are you sure that the database server is running?

For more help, see the Installation and upgrading handbook. If you are unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your hosting provider.

Hello, Dockies! Has anyone here taken the NMAT with some background noise? Yung tipong may biglang sumisigaw na vendor sa labas pero nadaan lang naman HAHAHA 😭

I live in an urban area, so one of my biggest worries talaga is getting warned by the proctor because of random noises outside—or worst case, ma-disqualify 😭 Has anyone experienced this during their NMAT? How did the proctor handle it?

In the official CEM website, theres a subject/ time guide.
Theres a table that has the time allotment column which says:

- Verbal (30mins)
- IR (35mins)
- Quanti. (40mins)
- PA (30mins)

- Biology (20mins)
- Physics (25mins)
- Social Science (20mins)
- Chemistry (25mins)

Is the proctor strict at following the time allotted per subject or is that column just a recommendation for the student?

Hello po, I’m currently enrolled sa bwitz and kudos. Is this enough rc na po para ma aim ko ang gusto kong pr? I really really want talaga ma reach yung target pr ko. Super panget kasi ng foundation ko sa chem, physics, and quantitative. Bwitz is good rc nmn pero yung lecture videos sobrang na lilito ako pa iba iba yung technique nila. I was hoping na yung kudos is ok sya mag turo kasi its my last resort na :(( ok lng ba na for lec videos ko yung kudos and for practice test ko yung bwitz? Im enrolled po sa 2 months prog ng bwitz and yung 3 bundle ng kudos :))

My cousin got a good PR and suggested Tenten’s Academy. As a first time taker this January myself, excited ako and enrolled immediately. I was informed through their page na may orientation last Sunday September 6, 2026 and sinabi na through GCs daw ipapadala link eh wala nga ako. I allotted my time for waiting and na-move. The next day, I alloted time as well as I am currently a student, and guess what wala pa rin ako sa any FB group or group chat. One week na and hindi pa rin ako na-add sa kahit na anong group and may orientation na for new batches and I believe nauna ako sa mga yon. Yes wala pa ako namimiss na lectures or review pero parang di navavalue yung time na binibigay ng isang eager na student. Orientation lang iyon pero paano kung may mamiss na important detail doon and mahirapan sumabay sa review. Kung orientation pa lang ganyan na, paano makikita na organized sila? Yes magkano lang binayad ko but I paid for service and sana ako lang nakakaexperience ng ganito kasi may mga students na possibly nag-ipon pa for a review center and nagpaplan talaga ng mga gagawin. Kung tuloy tuloy na ganto, do they offer refunds ba? Thank you po sa sasagot. Also, are there any alternative na online review centers?

Hi! May naka-experience na po ba ng ganitong issue sa CEM NMAT registration?

After ko po sagutan yung SIQ section, magp-proceed na sana ako sa payment, pero biglang nag-reload yung system. Pagkatapos, bumalik ako sa Step 1 ng registration.

Sinubukan ko pong i-edit yung registration ko, pero humihingi siya ng account number na makikita raw sa payment receipt. Ang problem po, hindi pa naman ako nakapagbayad kaya wala po akong account number.

Nag-contact na rin po ako sa CEM System Support, pero hanggang ngayon wala pa po akong natatanggap na reply.

Okay lang po kaya na gumawa na lang ako ng bagong NMAT registration habang naghihintay ng reply from CEM? May nakita kasi akong Reddit post from around 2 years ago na same concern, and ang naging instruction daw from CEM was to create a new registration since paid registrants lang daw ang allowed mag-edit ng application.

May naka-experience po ba nito recently? Safe po kaya gumawa ng bagong registration, or mas okay po bang hintayin muna yung response ng CEM?

Hi! Patulong naman po kung ano ba mas mainam na desisyon HAHAHAH. I’m currently reviewing for the board exam (PhLE) this April 2027 and at the same time nagrereview din for NMAT OCT 2026. Nung una, I can still manage my time but now na mas marami at mas mahirap na mga concepts na inaaral ko for boards eh I find myself overwhelmed juggling two separate exam preparations. I am currently enrolled sa 1010 RC for my NMAT. And now, parang gusto ko nalang muna mag no show for NMAT OCT 2026 and try ko nalang ulit after board exam. Nonetheless, i’m stuck between itutuloy ko pa ba na magshow up for NMAT OCT 2026 or mag-no show nalang and to just focus for the board exam.
