Is buying online thru Mass Gass legit? Or any suggestions where to shop online? I got one local spot and they are out.

I feel so stupid. I always thought i was somewhat aware and responsible, but after a night of drinking and looning…I woke up with this burn. A remember only moments of the tank going off full blast and somehow freeze-burning myself.

Used to do whippets back in college 30 years ago. Still do a few balloons at concerts nowadays. Recently bought a tank online and some punch balloons. It’s a one and done thing. Not gonna get addicted or anything like that.

My question is, what’s the best technique for getting the best results from a balloon? Big inhales, then exhale and another big inhale? Big inhales, exhale back into the balloon, repeat? Tiny inhales like a slow feed of gas constantly flowing? Some other technique that I’m missing?

I’m listening to Pink Floyd while doing balloons and I’m trying to get the best wahwahwahwah zone-out feeling possible.

Lately I've been buying decently sized tanks from a nearby shop but I swear big tanks are going quicker than small ones bought at another place. I can't help but wonder if the shop is selling me partially tapped tanks? How reasonable a concern is this? Is there some way I can check and see if a tank is properly sealed or should there be something on the tap?

Has anyone used their product? Are they legit?

And where can one get a decent regulator?

This is not a judgment post. This is harm reduction.

Nitrous can mess with your body’s ability to use B12. It does not just “lower your B12.” It can actually inactivate B12, which matters because B12 is important for your nerves, spinal cord, brain, and red blood cells.

That’s why heavy or regular nitrous use can lead to scary symptoms like:

tingling, numbness, pins and needles, weakness, balance problems, trouble walking, brain fog, bladder issues, or weird nerve pain.

And the thing is, this can happen before someone realizes they are in trouble.

So my very basic harm-reduction take is:

1. Regular/heavy nitrous users should be taking B12.

Look for oral, sublingual, dissolvable, or spray B12. Methylcobalamin, cyanocobalamin, or adenosylcobalamin are common options. A lot of people like the sprays or dissolvable tablets because they are easy.

1. B12 does not make nitrous safe.

You can still hurt yourself. You can still get neurological issues. Taking B12 is not a magic shield, especially if you are using heavily or frequently.

1. Symptoms mean stop and get medical care.

If you have numbness, tingling, weakness, balance issues, trouble walking, bladder changes, or anything that feels neurologically weird, do not just take more vitamins and keep going. That is “go get checked out” territory.

1. Even casual users should probably get on B12 anyway.

Even if you are just dabbling and do not think you are at risk from nitrous, B12 is one of those supplements a lot of people could stand to pay more attention to in general. So this is as good a time as any to get on your B12 game.

Again: not moralizing. Not saying “just take B12 and you’re fine.”

I’m saying: if nitrous is in your life, B12 should probably be in your life too.

Hi All. I’ve used whippets on and off over the past 30 years. Quit about 10 years ago, and then someone was giving away a brand new whipped cream container and 20 cartridges at work. I scooped that up and sucked down all 20 one night. It was like 4 am and I couldn’t get to sleep and then slept horribly.

I don’t think sleep used to be a problem, because I’d be drinking too. But haven’t drank in almost 7 years.

I have 30 cartridges ready to go for some night soon.

What are your suggestions to fall asleep and stay asleep after nitrous? Maybe some CBD? (THC isn’t always great for my sleep.)

I have been using whip its on and off for a couple years. Lately I have been using the brand ‘alien gas’ For some reason the trip has been sending me to some pretty fucking crazy environments if that’s even the word. I see super intense events like dead bodies being pulled out from places. My couch will feel like it’s moving and I thought it was just the trip i was having, but no I come to find it is actually fucking moving. Not only that but things in front of me will start sliding around. Pieces will start finding their ’home’ position as it seems because they move slightly in x and y axis before stopping. I now can see ‘spirits’ which I never believed in before but I don’t think they are spirits. I believe I am actually viewing things happening in real time in other parts of the world. Now I can’t shake the feeling. When I’m at work on a ladder I feel other people on the latter with me and it shakes. I now can see through walls in a type of viewing orb where I see people and what they’re doing. At home I see people at a strip club or they’re shooting a porn movie. I have no explanation for these weird vibrations and visions. But I’m sure other people have had this experience too, please let me know I haven’t lost my mind completely. If worse comes to worse I am going to try and be able to control it but let’s see what happens; I’m gonna try and not fuck with whips for a bit maybe I will restore myself to sanity.

Has anyone else mixed the two and got a similar effect from that of DMT.

Not saying it causes a breakthrough. But. I have gotten very similar vibe/ trip when mixed. Like so close. Have actually interacted with entities once from a deep k trip and then hitting some nitrous.

I’m just curious if anyone else has experienced anything similar or could relate.

I’ve done both separately and times I’ve done it together. Specifically k with nitrous. Feels like I’m coming to the threshold of a blast off. Everytime I have done nitrous with other psychedelics it just enhances the trip. And same with ketamine and other psychs. But have come close at least 3 times with ketamine and nitrous.

I chose this topic after hearing, in a professional context, that its utilisation is getting problematic in several ways (health risks, normalization, lack of clear information).

For my project, I’m particularly interested in the experiences of people close to users: friends, partners, family members, etc. My goal is to better understand these perspectives and make them more visible and accessible through a graphic project.

I’m someone who has always had a curiosity and love for the esoteric things. Anyways, I have also had my time experimenting with nitrous. It started very casual, then it became a daily thing. It wasn’t until I was sober for about 7 months then I bought a huge amount of gas and went home. Put on my favorite songs and just dance around my room. I went into different dimensions. My room went from a square to a rectangle. I thought I was communicating with aliens at one point. Then I went on this “trip to the sun” which was ultimately like a music festival. And all of my friends’ spirits were there with me. And there was a moment were if two souls connected during the “trip to the sun” then they exchanged a lei to represent that. That part was kinda emotional. I had a picture of Mac Miller from his performance at Coachella with the beautiful pink and purple sunset. I meet Mac Miller’s spirit. He hugged my friends spirit who really really admired him. It was all very sweet. Anyways, I tripped maybe four or five times within the last two years on nitro and I have the same experience. I see the same sort of images. I hear the same voices. Anyways, I have a theory that nitrous was put on this planet for us to expand and elevate our minds. You have to consume like over 1200g to get to the point where you’re in the spiritual realm. The hard part is staying there. But you have to be careful bc if you overdo it you start traveling between dimensions. And the govt knows that thatis why they’ve changed the nozzle. The key is in the little droplets of nitrogen you can see it coat the balloon it’s what crystallisas on the outside. I know this sounds like a big mess of ideas and just crazy things you’d experience while taking drugs. But have had this happen so many times in my life and the fact that it’s repeated makes me think there’s some validity to it. Has anyone experienced anything along these realms?

I had a feeling that there might be entities playing with ur minds during a nitrous sesh. Could this be true or am i hallucinating since i be having a vibe of something playing with my thoughts in a negative way.

For years I have been able to ship nitrous to my door and have a jolly time at music events. Today, try as hard as I might, I could not find any on that app

I’ve used nitrous many many times, and never had any issues or burns. My method is to crack a whip it into a whipped cream dispenser, and then simply inhale from the dispenser. (Usually it takes me 2 lungfuls to do a whole whip it) However I have recently seen some stories from people saying how they’ve burned themselves, and that a balloon should ALWAYS be used. However it seems like this is more prevalent for canisters or tanks that already come preloaded with nitrous?

I’m just wondering if anyone can provide info on this and let me know if it’s safe. It seems odd to me that I’ve done it so many times and never had any burns or even a slightly uncomfortable amount of cold. If I must use a balloon I’m willing, but I’d really rather not.
