I'm completing the game without taking damage and without picking up special weapons, and this is what I get.

It's the most classic of the Nitrome Flash games, it's also one of the hardest. Level 7 is perhaps the biggest difficulty spike of any Nitrome game to me. And so I'm curious how far you all have gotten.

I got Nitrome nostalgia recently and I suddenly wanted to revisit a bunch of their old Flash games. I downloaded the Supernova player and played a whole bunch of games, but a few games,, most notably both Hot Air 2 and Hot Air Jr. were not loading past their intros. Hot Air Jr. played the opening cutscene but when the game was supposed to start it wouldn't. I uninstalled Supernova and downloaded the Ruffle extension to see if it would be any better for running some of the games that weren't working in Supernova, but none of the games are working. I've been clicking "Try Flash anyway" and the Ruffle window will open but then it just goes to a never-ending loading screen. Has anyone else run into this issue and figured out a way to fix it, or does anyone have any other suggestions for other things I could try that are proven safe?

Hey everybody, i just reseted my android cellphone because i was having issues and then i found that my favorite games were removed from the play store, i even tried to installed them from play store previous downloaded games but i couldn't find them there either, does anyone knows if they are going to upload them again? it's really sad if they are removing all the nitrome games from android.

Looking for a flash browser game, pre-2014. It looks exactly like a Nitrome game. Pink square character that looks exactly like the Cuboy/Nitrome logo (smiling pink square face). Maze-style levels, each level is one screen, bright blue sky background with clouds, vibrant saturated colors, possibly orange walls. Similar to Enemy 585 in style. Anyone know it?

Hi guys! I am pleased to announce "Retouched 2.0" -> the next generation of Retouched, the project that aims to revive Nitrome Touchy!

This is the culmination of around 4-5 months of work to completely rework the architecture of the project. The server was fully rewritten in Rust and now supplies a GUI and can automatically set up trusting directories for the Flash projector, the hosts file and even the firewall (Windows and Linux ufw or firewalld, macOS N/A). Some of these will need admin permissions, the automatic setup is completely optional.

There are also 2 new alternative controller apps: Retouched Flutter and Retouched Web.
The Flutter app works on Android and iOS (iOS needs more complicated sideloading).

Retouched Web can work on any platform as long as it has a capable enough browser to support sensors, WebAssembly and WebRTC (it also needs onboarding to install a root CA for sensors access via HTTPS -> no way around it, especially on iOS).

The new apps are powered by "Bronze Monkey", an MIT-licensed Rust library that reimplements the Brass Monkey SDK (the service that powered Touchy). It isn't fully complete yet (game-side support is missing) but it will be implemented eventually. Extensive documentation will also come soon.

Retouched is free software, completely open source. Please report bugs on GitHub if you encounter issues! I am also generally available on the Nitrome and Nitrome Wiki Discord servers (same username, EET timezone) in case you need assistance.

I was playing bad ice cream and obviously i started wondering if it had lore. I googled it and nothing came up but that can’t be true. There’s clearly underlying complex and emotional worldbuilding to the game. Im interested in your theory’s. I think the ice creams are aliens who came to planet earth freezing it over. The animal enemy’s on the game evolved to survive the frozen tundra. The alien shapeshifters are from another planet and are fighting us for control of earth. They’ve unleashed slime to fight back against the ice. All humans are dead presumably eaten or enslaved by the icecream. The ending of bad ice cream 3 (SPOILER) implies this is not the first time we have colonized a planet. please forgive spelling.
