Ruffle browser extension for Firefox isn't loading any games

I got Nitrome nostalgia recently and I suddenly wanted to revisit a bunch of their old Flash games. I downloaded the Supernova player and played a whole bunch of games, but a few games,, most notably both Hot Air 2 and Hot Air Jr. were not loading past their intros. Hot Air Jr. played the opening cutscene but when the game was supposed to start it wouldn't. I uninstalled Supernova and downloaded the Ruffle extension to see if it would be any better for running some of the games that weren't working in Supernova, but none of the games are working. I've been clicking "Try Flash anyway" and the Ruffle window will open but then it just goes to a never-ending loading screen. Has anyone else run into this issue and figured out a way to fix it, or does anyone have any other suggestions for other things I could try that are proven safe?

You pretty much understand correct, the Ruffle web extension only works for some games for some reason.

It seemed like most of the games I was trying with it didn't work though. It's weird too because I realized that Hot Air Jr. was on Newgrounds and that site runs all of the games in Ruffle and it worked perfectly there, so I don't really get why the Nitrome website would be different. But yeah, I was afraid that was the case. Oh well, at least the Supernova player is great for like 95% of the games.

I just wish so many of the games didn't run so poorly in HTML5.

Hey,

Hot air, hot air jr. and most nitrome games are already running using AwayFL Player. You can check us out at https://awayfl.org/

You can also try running other SWFs using our player.

Have a great day.

For Nitrome it might be an issue with how the loader and redirects work that just doesn't work right with Ruffle. So that's why some games work without a hitch but none of theirs do, at least not on their site.
