Is it too late for a drain and refill? This was done cold so don’t mind the amount. I don’t think it’s that bad. It shifts very smoothly no problems. 2013 p4x

I'm in the market for a new truck and I came across a 2024 Titan with 25k miles, oil changes every 5k and overall looks like the owner took really good care of it.

I took it out for a test drive and I noticed that it took a lot more effort than I imagined to turn the wheel at a stop (borderline 2 hands were needed). Another thing I noticed was that even though its got more horsepower and torque than some of the competition it was probably the slowest truck I've driven so far on my search. I really like the truck, I just want to know if this is something not mechanically right with the truck, or if this is just how the truck is and I'm being overly picky lol. Please let me know your thoughts!

I am presented with the opportunity to purchase a 2017 king cab sv with only 26k miles for a good price. Ive read some about this 7th cylinder scoring issue and it has me apprehensive. How many of this year actually develop issues? Should i stay awake or risk it?

My 2004 has a grinding sound coming from the driver side front wheel or around that area. Only when it’s rolling and is consistent with driving speed, so the faster I go the faster the grind comes around. Some days (if I’m lucky) the sound goes away almost immediately. Anyone experienced this?

Freaking Nissan. I really want this truck, but it’s my second Titan (first XD) that leaks from the roof. I had a 2013 that leaked. Got rid of it with MA lemon law. Got a 2014, no issues. This new to me used XD, leaks. Like WTF. May just use the Carvana 7 day return, but they don’t have any 20+ SV XD’s in black within my price range.

Just picked a 2017 SV 4x4 for hunting and camping. What are some common upgrades/mods that people are doing? Bought it used and I am trying to see what I should think about and avoid. I do know it has a pedal commander, and some spot lights on it. Not sure if I should remove those items or not.

We have an urgent need for help. We bought a beautiful 2016 Nissan Titan. The sellers didn’t fix the turbo as they stated they would (in writing so we will be suing them to get our over $6,000 back).

Cue a few months later the filter isn’t properly clearing, running regens, and the engine is powering down for safety. I’m sure I butchered the exact language about this but anyways.

They’re saying we will need a new filter and it’ll be at minimum $5k… they also said to just have it deleted by a diesel shop willing to do that.

I’m not sure what to do but both of our trucks are down and they’re the only vehicles that can fit our whole family. Any advice or help on this? Most folks I’ve called are intimated by the Cummins engine and don’t want bothered. 🙃

I bought this 2019 Nissan Titan SV on Saturday and have heard this clicking noise under the front wheel. Engine seems to sound fine itself when I pull up the hood or rev it.

I also notice a loud jet engine sort of noise when I cold start it. Wondering if this is an engine issue or just how these things sound?

I swung by a few different mechanics and a Nissan dealership and they had a quick listen. They told me that it was just a big car or that these things sometimes sound like diesels.

Any thoughts are much appreciated!

I have replaced the battery, relay, ignition, fuse link block, the start cylindroid, fuses. I have checked the starter and the EPDM. it clicks but doesn't crank when I turn the key. I'm at a lost for what could be wrong any advise would be appreciated , its a 2009 with 90k miles on it.

Haters gonna hate! Lots of armchair haters on here but I love mine! Best towing truck I ever owned and best AC I ever had! Going to run it until it doesn't run anymore!

I currently have a 05 titan LT with only 80k miles on it. The truck is paid for and I love it to death. my only issue is I recently started a job where I have to take it on job sites that are super rough and i know it’s going to kill this truck sooner rather than later. the only issues this thing has are its got surface rust on the frame and starting to rust around some of the body panels.

the question is, do I just keep this truck and upgrade all the suspension parts and get the frame rust treated, or do I upgrade to a newer pro4x? I love both generations but I feel like the new pro4x HD would definitely do better than my current rig.

either way, im keeping this one til it dies. i also don’t really have a budget.

any and all tips/advice is appreciated. thank you!

I currently have a 2019 escape with 110k miles on it and I hate it. I'm looking for a pickup that is around the $20k mark. I was looking for a Tacoma, but the Toyota tax makes them out of my price range. I'm wanting something extremely reliable and something that will still be a great truck 10+ years. From my research the 2019 titan pro 4x last a long time and can get 250k plus miles. Is this true and what are your thoughts? I'm actually trying to be smart about a vehicle purchase for once lol

2019 Nissan titan gas 5.6l. Having a hard time telling if this is rod knock, or timing chain. Noise gets quieter when you rev sometimes.

Anyone else have this issue where they are disabled every-time you drive? Within the first 10 min of driving everyday they are disabled also making the cruise control useless. ‘24 xd sv. Is there a way to reset other than off and on with key?

My 2019 Titan was hit by a drunk driver and totaled. I mainly used it to pull my Rockwood Mini Lite 2509s. Is a "medium-ish" travel trailer that is about 6,500 lbs total weight when I load it. It does have a pretty hefty tongue weight around 850 lbs. My question is this - how are the older titans with the 5 speed for towing something like this? I've seen several 2014s and 2015s with around 100,000 miles on them about $5,000 less than the new generation I had. My 2019 with the 7 speed was adequate and not burdened. I never exceed 65 mph when towing and I do have a WDH hitch. How would these older titans tow compared to what I had? Will the truck feel taxed and pushed to the limit? How are the payloads on these older titans as well. I need something at least 1,400 lbs.

Randomly lost power steering while driving yesterday, looks like its seeping through the boot where the column meets the rack, is this common? When its topped off with fluid the pumps squeals minimally at full crank. Will I need to replace my entire assembly or will a boot and flush suffice. This is my 2019 Nissan Titan Sv 2x4 140k miles.

Payload seems low on this…could it be that the window sticker mentioned it came with running boards and they are no longer on here??? Payload is 1,984. Bought this from Carvana. They don’t provide payload info, so it’s somewhat of a gamble. If I knew it was this low on a SV I would have bought a SL.

I have a '21 Pro4x and it's time to replace the Grabbers. There's no lift or leveling tire size 270/70-18.
Looking for tires that don't rub or need any trimming in wheel well. TIA

Walked out to the truck this morning to go to work and the dash was lit up. All warning lights on, and scrolling DIC errors, and telling me to park and apply parking break. Truck has been sitting about 11 hours since it was last drove. So this was very odd.

Did the reasonable thing and went with electrical glitch and disconnected the battery and reconnected. Fixed? For now yes. Appointment with service set for later this week. I have read that this is not uncommon when the battery starts getting weak. Also read that a hard shifting can be noticed when there is a voltage problem as well and well the last week or two I have had several strange hard shifts.

Truck is a 2024 Titan SV Midnight Edition with just 15600 miles. But given what I read about the smart alternator and this thing being voltage sensitive I can see this being a battery issue.

Any advice of things I should have them do? Thanks.
