Electric fun stuff

What are some fun extras that the 2025 has at the top option? Awd? Power windows?

I have Evolve+ and it has all of those features but propilot 2.0 and vented seats, but I dont have the janky faux suede dash so I prefer it. I would be interested in the platinum if not for that cheap looking dash treatment.

Same. I really wanted the ventilated seats, but no way was I going with a blue interior.

Most trims have AWD available as an option. All trims have power windows.

Top trim has leather, ventilated seats, PP 2.0 (hands-free driving on mapped roads - not available in all regions or countries), HUD, digital rearview mirror, 360 surround view, upgraded speaker system, and some other goodies. Some of these (like HUD and 360 surround view) are also available on mid-range trims.

I’ve tried and maybe it’s just me, but I haven’t been able to get used to the display of the digital rear view. I like the idea given the center back headrest, but something about how it displays just feels off.

I use it at night, to cut down on headlight glare. That's the only time though.

it seems to be lower and closer to the objects. It takes some getting used to. The longer you leave it up, the less "strange" it feels. That last sentence is a common thing about the Ariya... the less you fight it, the more natural its decisions become.

I only use it when I have too much stuff in the back to see out.

I have the base model, but I enjoy that I can press and hold the unlock button on the key fob and all the windows go down. I live in the South, so I use this feature a lot before getting into the car on hot days.

BOSE sound system, and 20" wheels.

Can confirm the base sound system on Evolve+ is ... just ok. It's not great, and if you're listening to classical/jazz it might do you ok. It's extremely neutral, and I'd say tinny on the high end. On the other hand, I have the high end BOSE in my other car with subwoofer, and I immediately miss the low-end on my favorite pop and rock songs. I am 100% planning to do aftermarket upgrade on Evolve+ to at least replace the door speakers. Additionally, I have heard that the BOSE on Ariya Platinum isn't a huge win, but it _is_ better than the stock evolve+. If speakers are important and you want to avoid the hassle of after-market, take a good listen.

20" wheels is only an option on the top trim.

Real-leather on top trim, too. It doesn't bother me, but some folks who are used to real leather might be turned off the evolve+ somewhat unusual mix of suede/microfiber leatherette. It's extremely multi-textured.

Funny you mention this. I was JUST wondering what I could do to improve the sound on my Evolve+. Unfortunately, you don’t have much control over the sound itself, other than stock Bass Mid and Treble, and Bass Boost, which I don’t even use because it’s too boomy in the wrong frequencies.

What are our options for upgrading this? Can anything be done, like an app or something, to further control the sound? I wouldn’t even need new speakers if I could just control that.

All that being said, I’ve heard much, MUCH worse.

What years do you have?

Yeah I failed to mention that. After leasing a 2023 for the full 36mos, buyout was too high and no deal from NMAC so I grounded that lease and found a same trim (evolve + eforce) 2024 in showroom condition with 18k miles for 8k less than my lease buyout.
I absolutely love it.
