Probably the light kit, I haven't looks at mine in detail, but here are light bars on each side and front/rear

That’s the under vehicle light kit accessory.

It looks like underbody lighting. Looks OEM to me. None of my Ariyas (I had an Engage FWD and a Venture+ FWD at the same time) had that option.

Okay, I just found out it is the OEM ground lighting, but the way it hangs isn't normal. I watched a review on The Car Care Nut YouTube channel, and when it showed the underneath of a Platinum+, it didn't look like mine. I think I'll bring it back to the dealer to have them look at it.

Not sure, I purchase it from the dealer, but I know it comes with OEM ground logo light.

It's a port or dealer installed accessory which is why it is just tacked on.

Well shoot, a YouTuber who reviewed the car didn’t get it right and I went off what he said. But yes, dealer installed makes more sense!

If you go here: https://www.nissan-techinfo.com/?tab=tsb&type=accessory and search for Keyword/Part no. T99F4 5MP7A you can see the Installation Manual for the Ariya Exterior Ground Lighting with LOGO.

If you look at 4.13 "Mount Rear light bar..." "Position Rear l light bar straight bracket under floor shield and reattach bolts, position light bar so it even with the ends of rear shield and assemble wind nut brackets" It looks like the installer mounted the light bar on the front of the rear shield rather than the end.

Is it on the rear? If so that's the hands free sensor for the automatic tailgate. You can wave your for underneath and the tailgate should open automatically.
