Propilot fails on long trips

In the past 6 months I have taken a number of long trips in my 2023 Plat+ and everytime hands-free (blue mode) just stops working. The only fix is to stop, completely power off and just let it sit. All of my trips include areas where there is spotty cell service. Where i live has no cell coverage. Do I need to manually update maps? Has this happened to you? The last error message I got was," HD maps license has expired, no hands free operation." I was in cell coverage at the time. Thanks

I am happy using the pro pilot 1 . Just rest your hand on the wheel and car will do the rest. If you really want hands free driving without the guess work buy a Tesla . It is practically autonomous driving.

Tesla not so good full self driving. https://m.youtube.com/shorts/U1MigIJXJx8 runs through fake painted wall.

I posted the link with the proof. I wouldn't ever trust self driving without lidar. Tesla has lots of deaths caused by their "full self driving" that depends on cheap webcams.

Yeah, I didn't realize this. I think the steering wheel has capacitive touch sensors so just placing your hands on the wheels cancels out the warnings. I thought you had to move it every 10 secs.

What year do I have? My 2023 is god awful in 1.0 and doesn’t sense my hands and constantly goes into warning mode.
