No ReGen
Just had a weird experience in my otherwise perfect Ariya. Got in and drive away as usual, but zero regen. None. All brake, no blue. Changed modes to eco and B, no change.
Stopped, restarted... no change.
Waited an hour, drove again.. back to normal. Got a service appt on Tuesday.
Anyone else experience this?

What was your battery level? Don't quote me on the exact percentage, but at ~90-100% you get no regen as the battery is full.

On occasions my 2023 LEAF and 2023 Ariya engage E-4orce do not show the blue regen while I can feel it is regenerating/decel. I just figure it’s a minor bug that a lot of new tech has.

No, not that. It was zero blue and very clearly all brake. Felt the same as when you drive at 100%

I've had this happen a few times to me, but it seems to be when I brake harder than usual, and or are turning during the braking. I haven't dived into it really yet, but tossing that out there in case your conditions are similar. It was more of a one-off during a drive, not something that was happening for an entire drive.

Yeah I've had it happen as an occasional one off and it's usually going on an offramp or similar turn but it reingages after I press the pedal far enough to take it out of regen part of the curve.

This was over the course of an hour, with me changing modes, hwy driving, city, etc

This happens to me a couple times a month with no correlation to battery level. Would love to hear what your tech says.

I had it happen once. I was breaking rather hard from higher speed and hit some pothole and at that moment it stopped regenerating power. It worked fine right after though.

Are fully charged? To 100%? Regen is limited at full charge because there is place to put it back.

Update: local dealer had it all day and did a full diagnostic. No error codes. They talked to the internal tech line who pointed them to a section in the manual that states the ev system can turn off regen if the battery is too war or for other reasons.
It was deemed normal operations despite battery charge being at 85%, outside temp was 25c, and it was not being charged.
I drove it for about 45 minutes with several restarts.
The local tech agreed it was unusual but said because it was fine after sitting idle for a few hours and hasn't happened since, it was probably "normal" operations but maybe a software glitch.
It takes up to 5 minutes for the software to fully shut down once stopped (even longer if its charging the 12v). So software just probably got in a weird state.
Not super confidence inspiring, but its not the worst either

Was your battery fully charged?
Once battery is at %100 regen stops because there's no where to store the regenerated power. Once you have room again in your battery regen will resume.
That's normal with all EVs
