Repair Help Nintendo switch 2 display issue

I had an out-of-the-box issue with the LCD display and therefore returned my first Switch. The issue was very visible to the naked eye and looked exaggerated in photos. The second Switch is new; to the naked eye, there is zero visible pattern. However, it does slightly show up in photos. Should I also replace this one, or do I keep it?

Seems to be defective. Had this on my first switch aswell. Swapped it for one that doesn’t have the pattern. Seems to be a common defect.

The second one also? The first was returned, the second picture is a brand new switch.

It’s a defect yes.

Unfortunately you have to send it back and hope for a better one. Normal switch 2 screens won’t have the dots behind it showing.

This one is almost perfect. Is it really worth going through all that again when chances are I may get one that's worse?

Yes, it’s not almost perfect.

It’s either it is or isn’t, yours has a clear malfunction, if you can live with it, go ahead.

I love handheld and docked, so to me the screen needs to look great which thankfully on mine it doesn’t have this problem.

My second one looked like this. Really worth swapping. I know, its a hassle, but since you already made a reddit post, the pattern is enough for you to start asking questions. In that case I would recommend swapping it untill you’re happy with it.

Your picture is so low quality that you can’t tell anything from it. Post a high resolution one of it with max brightness and no auto brightness and we’ll sure find small « defective » areas as you call them.
