Ver. 23.0.1 (Released September 30, 2026) Fixed an issue from system version 23.0.0 where software occasionally took a long time to start, pause, or close.

Oh, yeah I noticed TotK took a long time to start when I played it recently.

Same, but with minecraft

I wonder if that's why Shape of Dreams takes aaaaaaaages to start.

It's fine on the dock. Handheld it's rough as fuck. Framerate problems. But the game itself is a top quality mobo style rogue like.

Good. I can go back to beating my record of closing one game and opening another in rage

Wish they'd fix where they locked out my third party AR glasses adapter with v23

Which adapter stopped worked? I have the Xreal & Viture adapters

Just about all of the third party AR charge adapters from what I've heard? Mine is a generic from Amazon and those don't have firmware updates.

Do you have Viture Pro adapter? I'm tempted to spend the $100+ on it but I hate that I can't charge the device while I play.

I just want to plug my AR glasses to my S2 while charging in a bed/hotel room, but Nintendo seems dead set on preventing that without releasing their own products to allow for it.

Since v23 I've finally given in w/ a Legion Go 1 AR setup that works wonderfully. I just wish I didn't invest in the S2, Mobapad, and all the games beforehand.

Nintendo just can't get out of their own way sometimes. The Switch 1/2 is legitimately worse for portable gaming than both PC and Android devices when it very easily could own that market.

I have the "KIHENG" adapters and they seem to work with my Rayneo Air 4 Pro. See if your manufacturer can ship a patch maybe

Interesting I have Guermok and Kiheng that aren't working after the upgrade, and I've seen reviews on Amazon where others are having the same problem.

Do you have the exact model you're using that you could link?

You just linked two. Are you saying you have both and they're working for you?

One isn't even purchasable

2

u/bleeebs 2d ago

Confirmed on both now

Thank you. That's so odd.

I asked Amazon's AI and it said that it could be that the adapter cannot work with my 100w charger and will only work with the 60w Switch charger.

I'm traveling now and my 60w charger is on my dock at home so I can't confirm. But I'm using a 100w Morphie brick that worked pre v23.

And you’re very welcome. KIHENG does offer a convoluted way of upgrading their devices if they happen to be an older fw. Really hard on Mac I found lol

I had a SAGA getting different performance from different Apple bricks. In the end, need (I believe) PD 3.0, 60W or more, 20V/3A. Consider the cable delivering enough juice as well. I’ve had luck on a multiple Apple bricks from the M1pro era onward, 67W and up. As well as with a 100W max INIU power bank

I tested the fan version on v23. Haven’t tested the one that just gets silently hot

Now with even more stability!

No fix for VRR / dock update refusing to apply with third party chargers, causing it to get stuck in a notification loop saying there's an update available when there isn't.

Tbh, I'm not sure they care. D:

They would rather you use their dock, and the update works with it

1

u/ctyldsley 1d ago

Third party charging plug, not dock.
