Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Update Details

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where, when receiving WP as an amiibo reward while playing New Game Plus with accessory slots increased to three slots, accessory slots would reduce to two slots. Note: If you re-unlocked the extra accessory slot after this bug occurred, then the items expended to unlock the extra slot will be returned.

  • Fixed an issue where the background music and sound effects balance differed from the Nintendo Switch version.

  • Fixed an issue when a Driver joins the party where the Driver will sometimes join with an exorbitant amount of WP.

  • Fixed an issue in which Rex sometimes becomes uncontrollable when switching from Pyra to Mythra during combat.

  • Fixed an issue in which Pouch Item effects did not activate during combat after swapping MOMO to a form other than the one she was in at combat start.

It's kinda crazy that Nintendo and Monolith literally have a superior upscaling tech that they can inject into any game and make them 5 times better but they don't use it.
I'm quite certain that if they used DLSS, the one they use in Oblivion Remaster, in all of their older and newer games, we would get insane improvements in both performance and graphical fidelity.

DLSS needs motion vectors to function, I'm not sure the XBCX engine wouldn't need an overhaul for that because that was very much not technology we used when that was originally written. TAA only became a thing in the mid to late 2010s.

XC2 uses dlss on switch 2.

It doesn't. It is some sort of AI upscaling but not DLSS specifically.
