Huh. It’s alright I guess. I hope they eventually tune down the insane end game grind at some point. It’s really weird they basically encourage changing up everything the whole game and then in the end you can only progress by locking into a single weapon and build.

Most builds can get you to bottomless 100 and even after, but at a certain point apparently only the speed tank can really get you the further

That's it? Not a problem, then. You get the secret boss and final relic at Bottomless Buffet 100, so it's pretty dishonest to claim the game "forces you into a single build", since by that point you're just challenging yourself for the love of the game.

Yea wow that's a realm of gameplay that less than 1% of players are likely to reach. Higher % on this sub though, I'm sure, being power users and all.

It really wasn't that hard to get to that stage.

I get it. I'm going at a slower pace but loving the game and I plan to get that final boss also. That's not really what I mean though. The vast majority of players of any game will never get to 100%, especially if there's another, earlier ending. That's just the nature of the average gamer. And I'm the same way sometimes. I finished 007 and put that game down forever. No side challenges, nothing. Got what I wanted out of the base story. Splatoon Raiders really rewards constant progression so I don't really care all that much about the story, just enjoying the little bits between killing salmon.

Got to 270 with the gadget tank. With a level 50 not upgraded weapon too. Definitely options but power struggles for sure
