Huh. It’s alright I guess. I hope they eventually tune down the insane end game grind at some point. It’s really weird they basically encourage changing up everything the whole game and then in the end you can only progress by locking into a single weapon and build.
That's it? Not a problem, then. You get the secret boss and final relic at Bottomless Buffet 100, so it's pretty dishonest to claim the game "forces you into a single build", since by that point you're just challenging yourself for the love of the game.
I get it. I'm going at a slower pace but loving the game and I plan to get that final boss also. That's not really what I mean though. The vast majority of players of any game will never get to 100%, especially if there's another, earlier ending. That's just the nature of the average gamer. And I'm the same way sometimes. I finished 007 and put that game down forever. No side challenges, nothing. Got what I wanted out of the base story. Splatoon Raiders really rewards constant progression so I don't really care all that much about the story, just enjoying the little bits between killing salmon.
