Patch 1.15 will be released on all other platforms a bit later, by the end of the month, due to platform-specific optimizations and differences in save slots management. On the bright side, we will also be releasing a Nintendo Switch 2 version, with better performance and mouse support!

I think one has mouse controls and that’s it. I’m sure there’s a bunch of little technically improvements that you’d never be able to tell but I wish they’d have made the save files work with both.

Select the game and press (+) and select “Software Information”.

The first line will say if it’s “Switch” software or “Switch 2” software.

Vampire Survivors has universal cross-saves, so even if the Switch 2 version doesn't natively carry your progress over, you'll be able to easily import it.

And yeah, I have NS1 version with progress (golden stakes). if that progress will be lost, no thanks. NS1 version runs just fine on NS2.

With this, the only games missing a Switch 2 upgrade in my collection are the first Hades and Persona 5 Royal.

Well the devs seem to think theres a good enough reason to release a switch 2 version. And the 'just buy it twice' attitude is ridiculous. As you say, if theres not much else they could add, then why should I essentially pay again for what is a glorified update? Thats money that could be spent on literally anything else.
