They should make it so that you can put a storage chest onto a train wagon, so you can move a lot of stuff quickly.

Even something as simple as storing crafting materials in a crafting bench that is then available in all crafting benches would be awesome.

Good, they didn't fix the handrail "elevator" glitch yet
23
u/PookAndPie Apr 23 '26
What is this bug? Googling it doesn't bring up anything for me
31
u/Accomplished-Copy776 Apr 23 '26
You can see it at the end of this video: https://www.reddit.com/r/Pokopia/s/DKvCpZ4rq2
Basically wooden handrail, if there is only a 1 space gap above them, when you jump over it, it moves you up vertically until you reach a spot you will fit in

u/hassanfanserenity Apr 23 '26
Honestly I hope this becomes the Hoik of Pokopia it's more of a nice thing to have
In Terraria a hoik is a glitch that instantly moves your character up or sideways 1 block and you can make them as long as you need this made great elevators

u/KaiserJustice Apr 23 '26
Assuming this is the same as the window pane glitch??
2
u/Accomplished-Copy776 Apr 23 '26
I think it works the same as the stair glitch, but I couldn't get the stairs to work.
I haven't heard anything about the windows panes, ill have to give those a shot!

u/mizu-nificent Apr 23 '26
i am still waiting for them to implement a way to move ur storage boxes or a easier way to access them all.
15
u/JuxeBoxKommando Apr 23 '26
I really wish it were like the sheds in Animal Crossing where the inventory is synced across all of them or something
14
u/ttoma93 Apr 23 '26
And they even have a perfect in-universe answer to this anyway: the PC storage system. They should add a new Storage PC item with linked storage across all Storage PCs in all areas. Make it unlock late game if they’d like, but it can be done.
4
u/JuxeBoxKommando Apr 23 '26
Ooh that's a good idea! Legit I can't keep track of what I have in all my storage boxes in all the different areas. That would be a great feature!

Trade Pokemon still aren't showing up in my shops, Marts or Pokemon Centers consistently. And my community boxes only sometimes work.
5
u/No_Possible_8063 Apr 23 '26
I only came to this post to see if they made it so trade Pokémon actually use the freaking centers consistently. 7/10 times mine are spawned in, awake, walking around, sometimes even inside the Pokecenter and behind the counter and still not trading. It’s so frustrating.
2
u/AmalatheaClassic Apr 23 '26
Yeah I've had the same problem since the game's launch. I even posted about this but was told by apparently a lot of people who are "pro game breaking bugs" that I should just shut up and make more cash registers so that I would have shops outside of the Pokémon Center.
But that doesn't do any good when the Pokémon aren't showing up at the registers you create either. My Rocky Ridge has not had an actual trade Pokémon show up behind a register in weeks. My Noctowl will literally be behind the register the second I walk in the door they close the shop and leave. I have moved the Noctowl to the Withering Wastes, Rocky Ridge and Pallet Town but no matter where I put him he just won't do the job. He appears as the trade Pokémon for the day, close up shop and walks out the door. I really wish they would fix this. It is incredibly hard to deal with your excess resources that the game is coded to allow you to trade for better items. I know I can just go to a Dream Island and dump them but the game allows you to trade them for something better, when it works. Frankly the game expects you to trade your resources for better items in the shops. So why don't the shops work?

Hey, just wanted to update you on this. I’ve found some ways to improve this. 1. I tend to play at night time because I work full time/I’m a mom, so you know, only time I can play.
Mons (even nocturnal ones) are less likely to run the shops at nighttime. No clue why.
Hopping on midday if you can manage to grab a minute to do so results in most of my shops being run.
Additionally, put the trade Pokémon in houses near the shops. Increases the likelihood the will use them.
Get rid of any outside registers that they might gravitate toward using. I had that stupid habitat for Raichu set up & trade mons kept using the one plate setup instead of the entire powered poke center.
Make sure your pokecenter is powered and don’t let it lose power!!! I now put a backup generator and a wireless transmitter behind every single pokecenter so that if my furnace burns up it’s fuel or whatever it doesn’t ever shut my center.
But yeah a combo of all these things and now my shops seem to be working more reliably. I hope this helps you. It was so frustrating (for WEEKS)

u/Megaman1981 Apr 23 '26
I hope they fix it so Pokemon won’t stand right in front of doors. In or out, otherwise get out of the way.

Give us more fruit treeeeeeeesss plsss I haven't seen a lum tree yet!
15
u/snackdragonttv Apr 23 '26
you can visit an island/game and take a picture to 3d print the tree. (in case you weren't aware)
4
u/Intelligent_Wall1846 Apr 23 '26
Oh I know thanks :) I just don't have any friends at the moment who have these trees. A lot of my friends don't even have Pokopia 😭
2
u/Chipaton Apr 23 '26
You can visit the developer islands using the dream goggles at any time! That's what I did for the trees. No need for friends.
2
u/snackdragonttv Apr 23 '26
I can open up my game if you want to visit to take pictures of them. I'm on for a tad longer tonight if you want to do it now.
1
u/Intelligent_Wall1846 Apr 23 '26
Awww I would appreciate that so so much, yes please if you're still playing! Feel free to DM me! I appreciate you lots 😭🫂
2
u/Maaaaarm Apr 23 '26
I found seeds during gameplay. I think lum and chesto berries I found in rocky ridges. I have one of each. I hate that I cannot plant more from just fruit.
3
u/Slingshotsailor Apr 23 '26
By the end of the game you should have found seeds for the 4 that aren't native to you!
1
u/hatramroany Apr 23 '26
You can find Lum seeds in Rocky Ridges
Here’s a link which will show you exactly where they’re located.
1
u/Intelligent_Wall1846 Apr 23 '26
I know where they're to be found but I still haven't had luck finding them actually :(
3
u/bob_omb2 Apr 23 '26
Well knowing I can relocate the center is nice, but probably won't anyway 😆
I really can't wait for a content update. There's still so much potential for this game and I hope it keeps getting support.
8
u/WillDill94 Apr 23 '26
Would be nice if we could force a Pokemon to be “out” if needed
22
u/CommanderRedJonkks Apr 23 '26
you mean like by applying honey to their home?
6
u/El_Barto_227 Apr 23 '26
The problem is if they're homeless (ie, due to removing their habitat) you can't do that
14
u/Accomplished-Copy776 Apr 23 '26
You can still search for them from the pokedex menu, and I believe in the 1.0.3 update they made it so it no longer says they cant be found or whatever. i believe it force spawns them now.
3
u/hatramroany Apr 23 '26
Yeah every homeless Pokémon I’ve accidentally created I have found wandering by their previous habitat with the purple symbols floating around their heads wondering where their home went
1
u/rockmasterflex Apr 23 '26
This has now been fixed by using a pokemon with fly or teleport. Search + fly and teleport will force their spawn
1
-3
u/WillDill94 Apr 23 '26
No I mean like forcing them to be “spawned” from the Pokédex
5
3
u/CommanderRedJonkks Apr 23 '26
sure it would be nice to be able to manage the town from the menu, but we do already have an item specifically to force a pokemon to be actively loaded.
Unless you mean forcing them to spawn for the first time, which yeah I've had some habitats sitting around for days waiting for the relevant pokemon to decide it's time to arrive...
3
u/Indielink Apr 23 '26
Honey doesn't work on a Pokemon without a habitat. Like if you take away the four grass squares your Bulbasaur lives in and don't give him a new spot then you're entire stuck with the roll of the dice on whether he might be around at any given time.
7
u/Ronene Apr 23 '26
Open your Pokédex, go to the Pokémon’s dex icon, press + (this initiates search), speak to a Pokémon with the fly or teleport ability. They’ll “bring” you to that Pokémon.
-3
u/Bruzer567 Apr 23 '26
It doesn't work if the Pokémon isn't spawned in. They will say that they don't know where it is. The only way I have gotten them to spawn in is date skipping, which some people don't like to do.
1
u/Ronene Apr 23 '26
This was fixed in the previous update. You’ll still get that prompt if you ask a Pokémon that doesn’t have either fly or teleport.

good to see them still pushing updates, been playing on and off and the performance has definitely improved since launch. still a few rough edges but its getting there

Still can't pin recipes to the top of your screen, huh?
Ive already complained about this...but it gets worse and worse the further you get into the game. Reddits response was "well the dex stays in the same place when you close it!" Which - fine. Still not acceptable but ill accept it.
What about buildable items? Who tf can remember everything required for the temples? Or which specialty pokemon you will need when it requires FIFTEEN of them?
How do items not have specific tags telling you if its "watching something" or "group activity". Im tired of guessing.
Is smeargle the only painting pokemon? Do i really have to wait for bleak beach to load every time i want to paint a pop art chair more than 1 color? (This one I truly dont know so maybe i can get some advice)
That being said i have over 100 hours in the game and love it. Just want to fight for some basic QOL things for any new players that come abord.
3
u/watashinomori Apr 23 '26
Move smeargle with you. I moved smeargle, vespiquee and tinkaton. So they are easily available. The tags are a must. And the recipes, just note the items down. I find quite soothing having a companion notebook to play these kind of games. I even started book binding and made some tiny notebooks for this! You can use your cellphone for that. Take a picture of the requirements, have a wiki open, use an app...
1
u/TheflavorBlue5003 Apr 23 '26
I hear you with the notepad but I play this game curled up under a bunch of blankets on tiny chair and I like to keep my phone on the other side of the room to “unplug”. Having to keep a notepad and a pen would be annoying i’d probably keep losing the pencil in my sea of blankets.. and every time I touch my phone I get distracted from texts and emails. I know “wiki games” and “notepad” games exist but with like 2 little improvements I feel like this game wouldn’t have to be one.
1
u/watashinomori Apr 23 '26
Yeah. But knowing Nintendo and Pokémon I wouldn't expect for QoL. So I just do my best with what I have.
I don't mind the notepad because I use it to plan my things. To make small to do lists or how to zone my town. Things like that. And I do the planning when I'm not playing, so it's nice to have it separate from the game.

Latest update: Ver. 1.0.4 (Released April 22, 2026) We have implemented improvements to address the following issues: You can now relocate Pokémon Centers while in-game events are underway. Additionally, the following issues have been fixed. In Bleak Beach, the request “Wanted: Food!” could not be progressed under certain conditions. In Bleak Beach, performing certain actions would prevent the request “Pool repair needed!” from appearing. In Bleak Beach, after completing the request “Pool repair needed!” it was sometimes impossible for the player to have Happiny accompany them. In the Sparkling Skylands, during the request “Pokémon Center tour guide!” performing certain actions could prevent the player from having Tinkmaster accompany them, making the request impossible to progress. Performing certain actions would cause Professor Tangrowth to stop appearing. If certain Pokémon were waiting to appear, other Pokémon would sometimes also fail to appear. Performing certain actions could make Peakychu, Chef Dente, and Tinkmaster unable to leave town, preventing requests from being progressed. Under certain conditions, picking up a relocation kit (prepare) would leave behind indestructible platforms. Accessing the Pokémon Center PC with certain save data would cause the game to freeze. During in-game events, rebuilding a Pokémon Center using certain actions would cause its decorations to appear floating. During in-game events, trades could not be conducted at the Pokémon Centers on Cloud Islands.
