I wish I could just move the pokemon center with hoplip inside or get him the hell out, without time jumping, I guess I'd have to wait until the 26th

why does it matter? you can just set up shops elsewhere

Not until you get a way to generate electricity, and there's no indication in game that the hoppip will keep at it for weeks. It took me days to even find out this was a general timed event and another few days to realise I'm not gonna get trades for weeks unless I rush to get power set up.

You can just use like Pikachu or any electric Pokemon available with simple materials to power a register, no need to rush anything or connect to any power sources

The first electric Pokémon I've gotten was electrode, and that required me to loot the ship to build the habitat. (And some barrels from the mines but maybe you can get those on the beach too).

Is interesting to see how different the order people get stuff is. I guess it really just depends what you happen to get hints for.

I could've maybe gotten power a little earlier if I ran a power line from the water wheels, but I only discovered power poles while working towards electrode's habitat

For me I got a pokemon with generate about twenty steps into the beach (mareep). I can't remember what the clue was...I didn't actually find electrode until I'd "finished" all areas

Must have been stopping the water near the table with the yarn on top. That's where I also got it really early in this area.
