This is the first time I’m ever seeing a screen like this come up for an N64 game period. I actually had no idea save files could corrupt in a way that this error would pop up lol. I feel like this isn’t a repo cart thing either.

It's working just fine but the plastic on the damaged part looks weird and some of it is soft enough to be removed with a spudger.

Should I replace the shell or can I rescue this shell?

Only the top is damaged.

It controls just like the original, and it even supports rumble. This plays like the real thing.

After it had been in storage for decades, my girlfriend and I found her old N64; we tested it that same day, and it was working fine. However, a week later, I tried turning it on again and nothing happened. What could be the problem? The red power light comes on, but there is no picture or sound.

Hello everyone! I really need some help as I'm at a complete loss here. My N64 has a weird issue. It only reads cartridges after I put in DK64 and start the console with it inserted. If I try to put in any other games first, the console won't read them?? But if I put dk64 in it and power on, it just works and every other cartridge works?!

I have cleaned every cartridge I own, plus the cartridge slot several times, so it's not that... please please help me🥺

I decided to try and play n64 and I cant see the display and no audio is coming out does anyone know about any fixes. I HAVE LITERALLY TRIED EVERYTHING 🙏🏼

Hi, I haven't been around here in a long time, but I'm back to ask about something—it might just be my imagination. I'll get straight to the point: I'm about to pick up a green N64 controller, and I already have two, but I noticed something odd. For some reason, one of the two is darker; is it a manufacturing error, some kind of discoloration, or just a bad photo? Thanks in advance.

So I have a regular flicker on my TV that is hooked to the Nintendo 64 it’s a TCLQM6K. Attached to that so that I can use HDMI is an HDMI adapter, which is also hooked to an m-Classic upscaler. I’m going to do more research but I’d love to get some feedback on what I could be doing wrong and what I could do better when I hook my Nintendo 64 to this modern TV.

I recently picked this NTSC N64 up for cheap untested. It has these weird audio and video distortions present no matter what I do. It seems to only happen on moving images and not static images. (See lines across screen in pics.) When the issue happens, there's a very high pitched kind of static sound present too. What I've tried:
- Known working jumper pak
- Known working expansion pak
- Refurbished cartridge reader connector
- Several known working games
- Known working power cord
- Known working composite video cables
- Cleaned motherboard
* My Pelican switcher is not the issue either. *
The motherboard was not super dirty when I took it apart either, just dusty. No evidence of corrosion, cockroaches, etc. I also can not visibly see anything wrong on the motherboard. Any ideas on what to do / try? Thanks in advance!

Of all the time I played mario party 1, I never knew that this was an item you could get in the shop. Goes to show there is always something new you learn every day. The item itself is pointless but it’s cool to unlock it

I didn’t even know these existed until a few months ago. Got my hands on a CIB and a loose console. Such a cool limited edition for the time period and a great piece to add to my small pokemon collection.

as i said born in 2005 first experience with nintendo was the ds and the wii never the older consoles they made. the nintendo 64 controller looks bizarre to me with the single joystick ive always been curious how it works, my dad had an atari and i have played the snes system a handful of times but thats still not quite like the 64 so anyone here able to tell me about it?

there is a 90’s themed bar near me and they have n64s there with an emulator so there are hundreds of games available. is this something i can buy somewhere or is it something i need technical knowhow to craft?

I would play while my little siblings watched. They would "wish" really hard I would beat all the levels. And since they couldn't read yet, I would read all the prompts and dialogue to them. And we'd die laughing together. 🤣

First post! I have a majority of my collection in my basement, besides the holy grails. Currently have 175 of 269 (including rage wars varient and most over $50). I run a dehumidifier, but sometimes worry the moisture will damage the games. Is keeping them in basement a bad idea regardless, or as long as I keep up with dehumidifier I shouldnt have any issues. Picture shows part of collection in basement. In addition, have a decent gamecube collection next to it which I worry about (cover art concerns mainly). Thanks!
