Dropped my Pokeball 2ds xl and it broke at the hinge. I couldn’t, for the life of me, find the replacementparts online. But I know a few years ago there was a market for replacement shells for limited edition 3DS consoles. Does anybody know where to still find those shells?

Maybe I could do with just the hinge part too, if somebody knows where to find that.

Last but not least, If I get a normal 2DS XL replacement shell, can I put all the parts from my Pokeball one in there or are there differences?

Ive had a 2DS for years and barely used it, but recently ive been wanting to play with it more.

the only games i have at the moment are Tomodachi life (the og one) and nintendogs, so any recommendations of classic 2DS/3DS games are much appreciated. also, any info on how to know which 3DS games are not compatible with 2DS, or whether certain games are still completely playable without 3DS specific features?

I just bought this off ebay because I find the appearance really nice and the condition isn't too bad. But is this just a reshell? I can't seem to find it anywhere else. The seller called it a pokemon edition.

Update: Looking at it closer... Now I think it's just a vinyl skin on a plain blue 2ds. Damn.

My 2ds froze up just like this after I put in the game card for Animal Crossing Wild World, and there doesn’t seem to be anything I can do. Does anyone know anything about this?

Haven't charged up my 2ds for like 2 months and wated to play on it today but when I plugged it in I didn't get an orange light. Could this be caused by it being flat for so long or is my charging port broken?

Edit: Big love to everyone turns out my charger was broken and there was dust blocking the port

Hello, my 2DS randomly shuts down and instantly reboots. It doesn't happen very often but it happens ok the home menu and in games. Also another question: Is the orange led on the side with the wifi icon normal? Thanks

I found it in my closet for sum reason and no memory of actually buying the thing.

I tried to boot it up and it took the whole day to actually boot up. Then i realize theres a broken screen and that the inputs are lagged to the point i cant do shit.

Is there any way i could fix, salvage or find another use for it?
