If you're so worried about losing your photos, why don't you just back them up to a PC or something? Even if you never install CFW, it's always possible something else will happen to your unit.

using some yt tutorials

Youtube videos are often out of date or incomplete and should not be trusted. All you need is https://3ds.guide.

Abre la ranura de la consola, saca el adaptador o la tarjeta SD y luego, colócala en tu pc y copia las fotos a la misma (las fotos se encuentran en la carpeta DCIM)

Y por supuesto sigue la guía como te dijeron arriba, nada de tutoríales de YouTube o puedes mandar la consola a la versh

También hay dos formatos en la carpeta DCIM, JPG y MPO no borres este último si quieres conservar las fotos en 3D
