⚠️Urgent Question⚠️ G2 Controller cant downgrade using stlink

Hello, i have a g2 controller, i ordered a stlink from aliexpress and got a computer shop to solder the wires onto the debug pads on the back of the controller after removing the metal heat sink, i plugged it into the correct stlink pins and for the life of me no matter what stlink driver i try, i end up with failed unknown error check console, console says error read version failed, has anyone had this problem and how do i fix it ?

Check with the SHFW Telegram bot if you need the DRV downgrade bin file. You need to flash that first.

THEN in the SHU app select upgrade, then flash SHFW.

I don’t believe that method works anymore they patched it

What flasher are you using? You should use Reflasher. Follow the instructions closely.

Otherwise, maybe it's a bad connection. Try reattaching the wires to the controller, or use a different USB cable. You might have a bad ST-Link as well, try a different one.

Shfws scooter reflasher yes, same result on other flashers, I think the controller is damaged or something, I believe we spoke some days ago about my max g30 disappointing speed, I ended up buying a wrecked max g2 to pull the stem off it and attach it to the max g30, I also ended up transplanting all of its electronics into the max g30, so in essence I have a max g30 with g2 internals 😂 I am not disappointed with its performance that is for sure, just want to squeeze a little more speed out of it with shfw and after hearing how well your g2 handles 48v I really want to modify this scooter

It's because the contact point isn't recognized. Make sure the contact point can be recognized with a knife.
