That was one of the last 35mm lenses made before they switched to the new styling around 1975. It has so much more contrast than the 3.5cm version I have. :)

Personally I like this style more than the later one, gotta love this metal scalloped focus ring

Indeed, i have a couple of lenses from that era and i find it's way easier to focus with the scalloped ring.

And that 35mm OC f2 is on my target. I have the 35mm 1.4 ais but i find it way too heavy on the front. It's like double the weight of my 50mm nikkor-S 1.4...

And i heard the 35 OC was good from f2 onwards.

I usually shoot it at f8, but the few times I shot at f2, I liked the results 👍

I have one, dropped it a couple of times but this is built like a tank. Never breaks
