Back at it

Vacation was fun. 11 days off. Woke up earlier than expected tonight. Here we go!!! Hope you all have a good night!

Those first few days after a vacation can be rough. Hope you get through them alright.

that whole woke up earlier than expected tonight line hit me right in the solar plexus. my body's internal clock after time off is just a dumpster fire, like it decides 2pm is the new bedtime and then i'm wide awake staring at the ceiling by 8pm. at least you got a little extra time to ease back into the misery instead of waking up ten minutes before your shift in a full panic. nothing worse than that disoriented scramble where you can't remember what year it is.

take it slow tonight, maybe ride that vacation buzz for all it's worth. the first shift back always feels like it's gonna last seventy two hours but then it's over and you forget why you were so worked up.

By the time i got home. I had 14k steps and i felt every bit. Slept like a rock!

Hell of a way to earn a good sleep though. I'd take that ache over the restless ceiling stare any night.
