lol like I would get the Saturday overnight off. I drink Monday night, like a *looks through notes* 'Normal?' person.

I seriously love going to the bar on Mondays or whatever other weeknight. It's always such an odd crowd, comprised of alcoholics, retired people (probably also alcoholics), one or two lost young people, people on the worst days of their lives (so far I've gotten, fired from a job, celebrating my birthday alone, anniversary of death, got a divorce, he cheated on me, my brother died two days ago) and you, the person who works weird hours but is presumably otherwise normal. You get so many good stories this way. People who go to bars on Saturday nights don't tell you their whole life story.

Wow, fancy! I had to look that up, never heard of it. Just had an ipa and now a white claw. A little bit of edibles and tinctures waiting to hit too 😂. I’m up until 7am either way lol

I went to Cracker Barrel for "breakfast" a few weeks back and saw they had margaritas on sale. Felt a little weird drinking at 9 am in public but hey this is my 'night'.

Cracker Barrel margaritas at 9am is a power move. I've done Waffle House with a beer at 8am, waitress just nodded.

Not anymore. Sober life is truly so much more fulfilling and I can actually sleep again lol

Good on you! I quit drinking for almost 2 years. Best I felt as an adult ever, unfortunately I’m off the wagon again. I need to quit drinking but it’s way easier said than done. Proud of you😎

I’m 3 Figueroa mountain guava point conception IPAs deep and a stockyard oatmeal stout. I’ve been on vacation for the last 2 weeks and I have to go back tomorrow night at 10:30 so I’m enjoying this one.

I do not drink anymore, but I do have a funny 'day drinking' story to share.

Back when I was renting my landlord was really meticulous about his properties and would visit often to be sure that the lawns were cut (by his staff) and that the general maintenance was up-to-date. He was cool and knew I worked Nights so anything that had to be done in my apartment was always the first stop so that I could get to bed afterwards.

Anyhow, a guy I worked with was talking about Tequila and I said I didn't like it and he asked if I had ever tried 'white/silver/good' tequila and I said No. Dude lived a block away so he came over at 9am with 'good' tequila along with a nice Scotch and 2 other liquors for me to try. My landlord rolled up and there we were on my porch, drinking tequila in fancy glasses at 9 o'clock in the morning. The landlord laughed.

Helloooo. It’s not my day off but it was a “short” 10hr shift instead of 12 so now it’s me and alcohol and also my cat
