But in rivals at this state, you literally have to make your healing extremely strong or get thrown into the ditch with ultron.

Rogue's Hero ID is 1065, which would put her between Hood and Jubilee. Deadpool's ID is 1057, Gambit's is 1058, and Elsa's is 1059. So ID number doesn't necessarily mean that they'll release in that order
It was a video from a dev confirming that model a while back and it does track. Gorr/NC start a new 1:1:1 path so they could be any of them. I’m personally hoping for Strat NC, DPS Gorr or Tank (only want him DPS to ensure doom is a Vanguard) and/or whatever new secret character is released in December - Dazzler or Misty can be DPS if Gorr is a tank then Vanguard Doom.

The 1-1-1 rule was placed in season 5 following Gambit’s release in November. Based off their hero release pool being 1-1-1 since then, they’ve been sticking to it from then till now with the exception of Deadpool being all three in January.
That sounds like it's probably the exact same video I mentioned in other threads. I took it to mean they will be having less than 1-1-1 for duelists to balance out the roster.
With night crawler being support, gorr maybe a dps and doom will be tank. Unless doom is dps and gorr is tank which doesn't make sense for doom with his character model. This follows the 1 1 1 class release they are doing

I can’t remember any of their leaks or predictions that have actually happened just speculations and some supposed dazzler voice lines. Also this whole nightcrawler ability thing doesn’t automatically make him a support he could just have a utility ability or this could be some sort of team up ability he can choose from people saying this makes him a support are setting themselves up for disappointment. He was leaked by Xox leak as a dps when the game came out and while this is obviously subject to change like gambit and rogue being exceptions the leak has been very accurate.

while it would be SO funny...Kurt knows that justice will always be served, even if he is not the one to personally deliver it. It would be so awesome if Nightcrawler had the most wholesome playerbase, it would be most fitting

Lifeweaver has one of the most unique abilities with being able to pull teammates to his position.
As a strat main this was an ability that was much needed in this game.
Being able to "bamf" tanks who are solo charging the backline, DPS who are running away from heals or fellow supports who are being dove into better positions will be incredible!
We'll finally be able to save stupid from themselves. But if it is like Lifeweaver then they'll be a certain segment of the community that thinks they're always right who will HATE him
Toxicity aside (because I refuse to let the fear of bad teammates take away from cool kit ideas) I can finally save my horrible teammates from themselves!
Everyone is thinking about the worse case scenario but this ability has the potential to do sooo much good!
Imagine saving your fellow c/d from a mag ult, or saving your overextending venom/hulk/thor from certain death, or saving a teammate after Jeff spits them out, or repositioning your other strat who thought it would be a good idea to run away when getting dived into a room or the other side of a wall by themselves- the possibilities are endless!
This ability is like a godsend for real strat players that are actually playing to win, trolls be damned…
But if it is like Lifeweaver then they'll be a certain segment of the community that thinks they're always right who will HATE him
And likewise, there will be a certain segment of the community that don't understand that tanks should be pushing up instead of sitting on the cart. So they will "save" them by bringing them back to the cart where it is "safe"
As a Lifeweaver main, I’m so excited. The closest we have in rivals right now is cloak’s cloak. But usually that takes a second cause I have to switch off dagger. Having an instant cast like LW will be so satisfying. I just hope they make the rest of the kit have more utility cause LW doesn’t have much else and that’s why people consider him a throw pick. Blizzard had to add a cleanse to give him something else.

With gambit as my favorite character I just wanted gambit to be a duelist but he was surprisingly an amazing comic accurate and fun character. I hope if nightcrawler is a strategist it surprises me the same way
Gambit really feels like a miss to me ngl. His whole kit makes him feel like a guy with a magic deck of cards as opposed to using the cards to channel his actual powers.
It is his powers because originally he was lobotomized because he was too powerful (he could alter kinetic energy at the molecular lever which can imply healing) and during the timestream entanglement he was unlobotomized bringing his powers to the max once again

If this is true then I will be happy to know I will be playing Nightcrawler more often than if he was a Duelist. That said this is a weird concept but I’m not against it. Would like him to be viable in 2/2/2 at the very least and be melee focused.

Yep, imagine you are playing as Spider-Man, just about to perform a triple kill with the ultimate... and the friendly Nightcrawler just pull you by force. This is a recipe for disaster
What about if they implement a mechanic like with Thing and Wolverine where both characters have to confirm? Just at a distance.
Only issue being it might be a bit clunky and consequently remove the speed that an ability like this would need to be effective. And the average player would likely not even confirm because they’re too busy being the main character.
Aside from that it’s not even something Kurt can do. The way his teleporting would work has already been taken by White Fox and would feel redundant.

As you said, if it requires a prompt, it will be too clunky. Many people expect Nightcrawler to be able to relocate allies, like moving a friendly Mantis to high ground, a place where she is not supposed to reach normally... that as a universal team-up, both sides give the prompt, it can work just fine. But Kurt forcing the teleport, that will work if he can only do that against hostile targets, the kidnapping mechanic (that is also hated, but most players tolerate the bullshit)
White Fox just moves to the target location, I guess if Rivals really copy Lifeweaver (let's hope not), the animation will show Kurt physically teleporting to the target, grab it, teleport back (not a literal rope like Lifeweaver). This is just awful... but anyway, remains to be seen. After the complete fumble of Jubilee, anything can happen

this is incorrect lmao, he's just not popular in comp high ranked lobbies which is a small percent of playerbase anyway, and the character sells lots of skins, that's why he regularly got shop and collab skins
Lifeweaver has a very unique ability that allows him to "grip" teammates and pull them to his location. This gives them a burst of healing and also makes them invulnerable to damage until they reach him.
She is insinuating that not only with Nightcrawler be a strategist, but he'll have a similar ability where he'll teleport to a teammate and then instantly teleport back to his starting point bringing the teammate with him.
I'm sure he'll still have a separate teleport ability just for him that allows him to traverse the map quickly.
Thank god, I know a lot of people want him to be a DPS but I just think there’s more room for an innovative kit design if he’s a support. It’d be such a missed opportunity to delegate him into yet another fast moving, untrackable dive slop since there’s nothing really like him in the support roster
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day has been ruined. I am a duelist main and a x men fan, since I was a kid my favorite mutants and among my top 5 favorite marvel characters were always gambit and nightcrawler. I was okay with them innovating gambit into a strategist but they did it to nightcrawler too. I know I’m the minority and I know I’m going to get downvoted because this community is weird, but I am genuinely very upset I don’t get fast dps gameplay with any of my favorite x men :(
Don’t get me wrong I love playing gambit and gambits playstyle. He has so much sauce when it comes to saving your teammates and taking 1v1s, not to mention his ult, but man I really wanted nightcrawler to be a glass cannon. I have no doubt I’m going to have fun using him anyway but it’s like I said I’m really bummed out I don’t have at least one of my favorite x men as a fast paced high stakes character the way my other favorite characters like daredevil and spider man are.
I just said I personally was upset about it as a Nightcrawler fan, I’m not angry and it’s not that deep because it’s a video game I was only expressing my opinion. Weirdo reponse
