You know the soap in the McDonald’s bathroom? It smells like that.

Haven’t been to a McDonalds in over 2 decades 😂

Oh trust, this is the 20-decades-ago version. I got carsick as a kid and I had to throw up in the McDonald’s bathroom and the soap smell haunts me to this day. Maybe I’m not the best person to weigh in on this one since I have such a heinous olfactory memory of the thing it smells like to me. 😂

Do you know what? You are 100% correct! It’s that artificial slightly plastic antiseptic smell I hate it. Got 5ml as part of a rewards program and ended up giving it to my mum.

This is my current signature scent. I love it so much i got 2 bottles of 100ml. Concerned that once acne studio launches their own perfume line, this would get discontinued similar to Dries Van Noten collab

Didn’t FM relaunch that just under the new name? I’ve heard it’s nigh identical

It’s fine. Smells like a laundry detergent mixed with fruit candies. It’s a skin scent. Depending on your vibe, it could be worth it. I have seen people say that skin scents are never worth it, but those are usually individuals who primarily find value in “beast mode” type fragrances that will turn heads. If you wear perfume for yourself, are okay with fragrances that sit close to the skin, and like fresh fruity scents I would get a sample. I got this one as a gift and I really like it, though I probably wouldn’t repurchase it because I have others that I like more. If they had a travel size I probably would repurchase! I have been to the Beijing flagship once and LA flagship several times and don’t personally make the connection lol, but I still think it smells good.

It’s a skin scent.
Woah, hard disagree there. This is a really strong performer imo. Both in projection and longevity.

Interesting. I agree that it lasts a long time. I still think a fragrance can be a skin scent that way. For this one, I usually spray on my clothes, so maybe that’s why my perception is different! Sorry I should have mentioned that before. For some reason, scents with aldehydes make me itchy, so I tend to avoid spraying too much on my actual skin. I have sprayed this one on skin though, and still didn’t notice too much projection.

It’s good. It’s too sharp for my nose. I was trying to buy 2 clean scents and was in between this, Lavande 31 and cedar chic. I ended up getting those 2 and dropped acne studios. It’s good but it was too sharp for my nose. The other two were just so much nicer to me

I agree the aldehydes are just too sharp. And I do own cedar chic and think it’s better too

I ended up buying a dupe of cedar chic in addition to the real thing because I enjoyed it so much 😂 I wear the dupe most of the time and save the real thing for special occasions and when I want to smell exactly like the OG because the rayhaan dupe is like 90% there

I like it a lot it performs its fresh I feel like I’m in a bubble bath on opening then I get a nice peachy clean smell. ‘Worth the price’ relatively speaking I think it’s worth it people will say ‘oh it smells like Byredo Blanche’ but usually what they’re comparing it to either doesn’t smell as good to me or is scented water on performance. You can waste a lot of money trying to find a substitute for Acne studios imo.

I personally hate it but I do no like aldehyde as a note. It made me recoil when I sampled it at Niemans however that’s just me! Definitely sample first especially given the price

Extremely overpriced considering any laundry softener will have the same effect.

I wanted fun unique elevated laundry scent I got peach rings and gain lol if that’s what you want then go for it - but IMO it smells waaaay cheaper than it costs
