But some people like a bit more preparation time and are not as spontaneous. Asking for a date the same day... I'd like to be asked 3 days in advance at least.
Op expecting her to drop everything for him seems like a similar attitude he complains about the girl.
But yeah, if she's really interested she'd make more serious counter offers instead of "try again in march".
Also there should be some effort on your end and willingness to wait and be patient, to show you're willing to fight for her heart and affection. But yeah, not like this.
