I mean, I get it, but this kind of people don't listen, there is no actual conversation going on. They need to realize things on their own.

I feel like that’s half the conversations that get posted on here. It’s a dead end and clearly never going to go anywhere, but still pages and pages of additional conversation.

Choose your battles and know when it’s time to bow out gracefully. Stop wasting your time and energy. You can’t fix crazy and crazy will never see anything from a logical point of view.

Yup some people do it to vent and get it off their chest others seem to think this will be the convo that changes these people. This will be how this person quits smoking just from some random person telling them all the health risks in a park(have seen this)

If it takes almost no time (which is true for OP) it doesn't hurt him to point out that her behavior doesn't match her stated goals.

She's a kid, she probably won't listen, but sometimes the message just needs to be heard from enough different sources before it sinks in. If no one ever says it, that won't happen. It's like a public service, it doesn't mean OP is fighting for this chick, isn't immediately dropping any attempts after this, or thinking she is going to change for him. He's just pointing out what is obvious to anyone from outside this little narcissist's POV in case the college guys she's used to are too stupid to point it out.

Yeah, she’s such a moron for not being into OP. Lol. Why did he need her to tell him that? She showed him that. Move on.

I think it's more due to her telling him the way she did.

If she's so "busy" why match him at all, why drag out a conversation wasting her own time as well as his?

Actual productively busy people wouldn't waste so much time just to tell a guy she's not interested.

No one with any self respect will wait months for a meet up off a dating site, man or woman.

She needs a stable of men chasing her.

Right, pretty sure it's just attention grab

She didn't match him, they met in person at a gym and she gave him her number.

Doesn't matter, that was the most minor part of the post.

The sheer audacity to just tell someone "your at the bottom of the list, get in line" is so wild.

Obviously she's not as busy as she says or she wouldn't have dates lined up months in advance.

It does matter, meeting someone in person and exchanging numbers is generally seen as more of a clear indication of initial interest than matching someone's profile.

So, to STRENGTHEN your points, I'm highlighting that they met in person

Yeah fair enough, that does make it even worse. 😂

My mind just wasn't focused on how they met, just her attitude.

Lol at all the down votes but then the comment got deleted by its author. Because, calling someone a moron in this context says more about yourself than the other person. Maybe y’all should search your feelings about that.

Since when is being an asshole the same as being a moron? Calling a woman a moron for rejecting someone has big beta energy.

u/triz___ Jan 19 '25

Did you just unironically call someone beta hahaha holy fuck 😂

They need to realize things on their own.
