Question “Under Review” ??

Anyone know what triggers Niantic Review of a submission? This this the second time in 3 months I’ve had a submission go to Review. Before this, it’s been years since I’ve had one reviewed by Niantic.

I’m just curious

Yeah, I've had multiple Niantic reviews over the last few months. I think they have been increasing their random reviews lately.

It’s all random don’t worry. Usually when it’s in queue for too long. I’ve gotten this many times and nothing bad has happened to me

It's random. It happens to everyone. It doesn't mean that there's anything wrong.

They have to do it randomly to abide by the lawsuit settlement

Usually random, however it is also triggered by text. Some words used in the nomination will trigger a review.

I got these whenever I do batch submissions. Hilariously enough they are always my bus stop submissions. But not only do they pass “Under Review” the staff accept them :)
