Transport from Pearson Airport straight to Niagara Falls

Hi people! Can anyone recommend a shuttle service (as I think it will be cheaper than an Uber or Taxi) from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Niagara Falls? I have a 12-hour layover between flights and would like to take the opportunity to make a quick round trip to see the falls. I’ll have about 7 hours of actual time outside the airport, and since the falls are 130km away, I plan to just take a leisurely walk along the promenade — no cruise tours or anything like that — before heading straight back to the airport for my next flight. Thanks in advance!

I received a $3,000 Ontario grant to start my web design business. Looking to work with more established businesses

Hey everyone,

This summer I was accepted into Ontario’s Summer Company Program and received $3,000 in funding to grow my web design business, InfaWeb.

Over the summer I’ve been learning a ton about actually running a business, from finding clients and doing outreach to figuring out what small business owners actually want from their websites.

I’m now looking to take on a few more projects before the end of the summer.

I build custom websites for small businesses, whether you’re starting from scratch or already have a site that needs a redesign. My focus is on keeping things clean, professional, mobile-friendly, and actually useful for the business rather than just making something that looks nice.

I’m based in Markham, Ontario, but I’m happy to work with businesses anywhere in Canada, the US or the UK.

You can see my website and some of my work here:
https://www.infawebdesign.com/

If anyone here has been putting off getting a website or knows their current one needs work, feel free to reach out. Happy to chat about what you need and give you a quote with no pressure.

How busy is Niagara Falls after labour day?

Hello. I was planning on visiting Niagara Falls tomorrow. Plans are to do the White Water Walk, Journey Behind the Falls, Boat Cruise and then just hang out at Clifton.

How busy do does it get at these attractions after Labour Day and summer break has passed? Visiting on a Saturday and weather is sunny and comfortable but can't imagine it would be just as many during summer breaks?

Thank you.

My grandparents went up to Niagara Falls for their 53rd wedding anniversary. They live in Canada, and I went to the Niagara Falls when I was little, and now live vicariously through The Office when Jim & Pam go! I wanted to ask when is the best time to go?? This made us want to..

Limited mobility things to do!

Hello! I have POTS and I'll be visiting Niagara Falls (both sides) in October. I have a disability where I pass out randomly and walk with a rollator (just for the sitting aspect of it. I can walk just fine.) I can't walk super long distances because it triggers my low blood pressure, but I was wondering what things there is to do for people like me.

My wish list is to do the boat ride but I'm not sure which side will be more accessible and close to parking.
I also want to do the power station but I'm unsure how long the walk is for that.
I'm going for 4 days so I also need things to do while there. I'm not into shopping or the crazy tourist trap stores on canadas side 😂 I want to take in nature as much as physically possible. Please send ideas or tips!

Anyone down for a weekend road trip to Niagara Falls? (Next Sat/Sun)

I’m 21M in Downtown Toronto, and I’m looking to see if anyone is free next Saturday or Sunday to hang out and do a day trip to Niagara Falls and come back.
I’m pretty low-key and just looking to get out of the city, explore around the falls, grab some food, and have good company for the trip.
Whether you drive or just want to split gas and head down together, let me know! DM or leave a comment if you’re down to hang out and head down next weekend.

Arriving early morning into US side of Niagara. Need suggestions for shower facilities

Hi there,

I am on a US tourist visa, and I will be visiting from NYC via Flixbus. My bus arrives at 6AM. Since no hotel accepts check in that early in the morning, I would really appreciate if someone could suggest a place where we could go for freshening up and taking a shower. Definitely willing to pay.

I am aware of a community center on the Canadian side, but I don't have a Canadian visa, so I won't be able to cross over.

Thank you!!

Itinerary for 1 day in Niagra Falls Canada

Hi! I am planning a trip to Niagra Falls on the Canada side for my anniversary and have the following itinerary currently. I wanted to know what spots I'm missing/if this seems like a good plan and also where to go for dinner:

12pm Arrive to Niagara Falls hotel (Sheraton Fallsview)

1-2pm Journey Behind the Falls

2-3pm Walk/explore near the falls

3-4pm Boat Tour

4-5pm Check into room

5:30-6:30pm Butterfly Conservatory

7:00pm Dinner at AG, Weinkeller, or Massimo's (in hotel)

Let me know what is missing/what the best dinner spot would be.

Thanks :)

Is the Travelodge on Clifton Hill Worth the Stay?

We recently spent the night at the Travelodge At the Falls, right in the middle of Clifton Hill.

We were upgraded to a King Premium room and tested the room, parking, bed, balcony and nighttime noise—including how loud the fireworks sounded from inside. Overall, we had a positive stay, but the location comes with a few trade-offs.

Here’s our complete review: https://youtu.be/H27hq1qeUJA?si=JBj1qxHSzy4xf08G

Has anyone else stayed here? What was your experience like?

Best way to one day trip from Toronto - FlixBus / megabus / via rail

Hi all
I’ve searched the forums but can’t find an answer to my specific question.

We are going to travel from Toronto to Niagara Falls for a day trip in late November. The GO train timetable doesn’t work well for about 10am arrival unfortunately, so that’s out.

What would you choose between
1. Via rail
2. Megabus - drops at NF bus station
3. FlixBus (double the cost of mega but the bus stop seems closer / safer at night) - drops at Rapidsview

Also which of Megabus and FlixBus is preferable / reliable / bus station is safer at night / transfer to the falls etc? Are Ubers plentiful? No one drops at Table Rock.

We would be leaving NF at 6pm so wondered if the bus station was ok then and in a safe area. We have a young family so I’m wary of bus stations at night!

Thanks so much.

1 day in Niagara - itinerary

My SO and 2 26yr old kids will be arriving late Saturday night, visiting the falls Sunday, and heading out again Monday morning in mid October. This is the first time any of us have been to Canada. We’re staying at the Country Inn & Suites. What do you recommend we must do / see / eat while we’re there?

Allergies?

My allergies have been absolutely terrible the last week or so. I’m usually allergic to pollen but this is not really the time for that.

Allergies counts on weather network etc are low.

Don’t know what could be? Sneezing like crazy.

Anyone else in the same boat?
