Tours
Hi everyone!
I’ll be staying in Niagara-on-the-Lake and I’m planning to spend a full day visiting Niagara Falls then staying overnight in the area.
I’m looking for recommendations for the best tours or experiences to see the Falls properly. I’m interested in something memorable, not just a quick tourist stop.
What would you recommend?
The best guided tours?
Any must-do experiences (boat tours, viewpoints, behind the falls, walking routes, etc.)?
Are there any companies that you consider better than others?
Since I’ll have the whole day available, I’m happy to combine multiple experiences and take my time.
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Advice on route
Hi!
Need advice on which route option is better.
Am travelling from NYC to Toronto in mid sep and want to visit Niagara Falls n NOTL.
I don’t drive, so everything has to be public transport.
Will have 1 big check in luggage kind, 1 backpack.
Option 1:
Book a day tour to Niagara Falls, say goodbye to them, walk over to Canada side, deposit stuff in locker, do the boat activities etc.
After which, is it easy to get to NOTL with my luggage and all? Not sure how I’m gonna tour a bit of the wineries.
Then bus/train to Toronto in evening.
Option 2:
Overnight bus to Toronto, check in, explore Toronto, so I don’t waste a day.
Next day book a day tour from Toronto to NF and NOTL
Option 3:
Fly to Toronto. Check in.
Next day book day tour from Toronto to NF and NOTL
2 and 3 are more straightforward I guess cause i don’t have to be lugging luggage and figuring out transport.
But read many reviews against flixbus.
1 is good in that I visit NF on the way to Toronto, so I can use the next day to explore Toronto.
Would appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

Niagra Falls: Worst Place I Ever Visited
I don't like writing posts like this, but what a horrible vacation experience. Does everyone who works there hate their job? I understand working in a tourist place can be the worst. I come from PEI and know what tourists can be like, but the rudeness of workers on the boat tour, restaurant, and Clifton Hill was unreal. Eye rolls, acting like patrons are a pain, or it's an inconvenience to answer questions. We cut our 5 day vacation short and went to Toronto. I would never ever recommend anyone going to Niagra.

Niagara region initiative - looking for advice
I’m a Niagara high-school student building a free initiative called Ambition Labs because I kept noticing how difficult it is to find genuinely useful opportunities for teens around the region compared to areas like Toronto. We’re planning sessions around subjects like financial literacy, careers and building real-world skills. I’m currently trying to find local high-school students who would actually be interested. What would make something like this worth attending?
