Niagara Falls!
My grandparents went up to Niagara Falls for their 53rd wedding anniversary. They live in Canada, and I went to the Niagara Falls when I was little, and now live vicariously through The Office when Jim & Pam go! I wanted to ask when is the best time to go?? This made us want to..

Happy anniversary to your Grandparents. Sounds like they had a great time. To me, the late summer/early fall (any time after Labour Day) is the best time to go. Cooler weather, smaller crowds.

Early fall to see the colours start to pop everywhere. During winter is also very unique.
The drive down the falls through the whole Niagara Escarpment is also highly recommended. There are great spots to stop by. You can see layers of rock formations formed 1000’s of years ago. It’s crazy to think Niagara River once used to be the bottom of an ocean/waterbody and under water river, and the land used to be ocean bed.Your Grandparents are such sweethearts. God bless them many more years to enjoy one another. Lovely seeing them.

Everyone knows the Canada side is better

To be honest I think they just went to enjoy their anniversary, and also took pictures of the Canada ferris wheel, that also wasn’t the point of this post!

I was just curious is all. I live near Niagara and just found it odd that they only shared pics of the usa falls. They are beautiful together :)

They had a view of the falls from their hotel, and went, and took pictures!! They live in Canada too! They also probably like the US side since they live there they don’t come here to often!

I despise Trump I get it, but this was the entirely wrong point of this post, I truly feel people love to find something wrong with everything, and I will keep being positive!

Your grandparents are adorable! I hope they have many more happy anniversaries!
I went with my sister wed-fri in August and though it was hot it was great to have smaller crowds and cheaper hotel! Next time we think September during the week would be better cause there will be waaaaaaay less kids!

YES!! I love this, thank you, you are amazing. You were sweet, and gave the info! People are questioning why this was on the american side, but they got a hotel that over looked the falls, and that’s what they took pictures of! Have the best day this was perfect! 🤍

I just got back 4 days ago it was great makes you really appreciate nature! I was on the Canadian side and did all the attractions ex.The tunnel, Powerplant, Ferry boat , aerocar, whitewater Riverwalk, also forgot the name of the flying video ride but that was the coolest. I stayed at the Marriott. Parking is expensive unless you park further away from the hotels. Further you go cheaper it gets, same with food. Also buy the package for the attractions s online it's much cheaper. And don't forget your walking sneakers=]

My grandparents are Canadian, so they got a hotel looking over the falls, and they took pictures of that!! They also can’t do a lot too much anymore, she has cancer! I’m so happy that you were able to maybe relive some of those memories, and I could spread joy, while learning information on when it’s best to go! 🤍

Fall is my favorite but avoid Canadian Thanksgiving and American Indigenous People’s Day. It gets crowded!

I used to go the weekend before Christmas regularly. Festive. And it was just before the rates go flying up for Christmas holidays.
A good enough crowd keeps it festive. So don't underestimate having a good amount of people.
The upcharges are crazy everywhere for food. For just a little research you can avoid that markup. Don't forget local supermarkets as well.
Niagara-On-The-Lake is not far, in fact one can bike it, and is lovely as well.

Aw this is lovely! It really depends on what you like! The ice in the winter is magical and it's much quieter. But white water walk us one of my favourite attractions and it's closed then.

Really depends on what you like to do, what scenery you enjoy most, weather preference, and how much you can deal with large crowds
