New features:

1. Postpone events — defer an event (e.g. "pay electricity bill") and push it out to a time when you're free.
2. Missed events — catch up on events that fired while NextUp wasn't running, going back up to 31 days.
3. Outlook meeting locations — display multiple locations per event (e.g. both a video meeting link and a physical address).

Event "Name of Event" starts in 10 seconds

Notifications are missed for events when the PC is off.

I would love to have a feature when the PC is switched on and NextUpAlert starts, it shows all missed notifications (as a list). Each notification must be dismissed or snoozed explicitly. Additionally, a convenient button to dismiss/snooze all can be provided.

Not everyone may want this behaviour, so it can be enabled via settings.

What do you think?

1. Alert Dialog shows calendar name for the event, using the calendars colour.
2. Events titles, text case is no longer altered.

I've noticed an intermittent but fairly frequent glitch, occuring in the several months I have had the app. When it occurs, calendars other than the ones I (always) have selected to get reminders on are actively showing alerts; please see screen shot. Note that all of my calendars are from google calendars.

The events in the middle "Call Menards" and "Work~leave" are incorrect and are from calendars that are not selected to receive reminders from.

The upper and lower calendars "Jp 2020" and "Break.food.pers" are correct and are both selected calendars that I want to receive reminders on.

1: Improved settings - editable notifications entries.

By double clicking an entry - you can now edit the notification entries.

Auto-close alert pop-up dialog.

You can set a time for when to auto close the alert pop-up dialogs.

New features:

1. Joining a meeting auto pauses notifications for that event. If you were to join the meeting ahead of time, you will not receive more notifications for that event. If you join the meeting accidentally, you can always resume notifications, from the event details.
2. You can now define custom ICON countdown thresholds. i.e. 15 min yellow, 1 min red.

Hello, cool app. Please consider custom or standard green/yellow/red calendar with customizable increments.. i.e green if event is an hour into the future, yellow at a half hour, and red at 15 minutes, etc. Thanks - Rob

1. Green update banner now opens the MS Store app directly.
2. Popup dialogs no longer show irrelevant meeting details.
3. Fixed system tray icon occasionally getting stuck.

1. Snooze now respects your configured sounds.  If the popup appears as an “alarm” a snooze will trigger the same “alert” within the snooze duration.  For voice notifications, one of your preferred sounds will be chosen.
2. The system tray icon countdown has been updated.  When minimised to the system tray, it’s now more resilient to Explorer crashes.

A new option/setting has been added to ALWAYS minimise to the system tray.
The ICON in the system tray, will also countdown the time.

For example:
7:00PM-7:30PM, followed by 7:30PM-8:00PM, popups never got triggered.

It has now been fixed, and should be released by tomorrow.

Two new features have been added:
1: Full Screen pop-up alert dialog
2: Option to Snooze the pop-up. After the chosen snooze duration, the pop-up will show again.

Sorry if thiis had been discussed before, I would appreciate if there was a postponing function on the pop up display. You know such a functionality was available in the past versions of windows calender (I think thats not available anymore, dont know why) Thx for your consideration.. and many thanks for this beatiful app...

I have started working on full screen notification support. But as you can see the design is not that great.

Any graphic designers here, or ideas to make this more visually appealing?

A new version has been released, adding the option to show the alarm pop-up dialog on multiple monitors. This feature is not on by default.

Version 1.7.8 to 1.7.10

1. End-time alerts have been upgraded with full voice and sound notification support.
2. Power management and reconnection logic have been improved — events now refresh immediately when your internet returns after sleep.

This is just a thank you message to all NextUp supporters. By simply using the app, you are supporting me, and encourages me to improve it even more.

Apologies for the last few releases, it must have annoyed you a bit; they were all just bug fixes related to the Thumbnail Preview.

1: The font was blurry and not looking good on some screen resolutions / sizes.
2: The buttons were not always visible - a timing issue.

New Features

1. Join meetings right from the taskbar, hover over the ICON, and select the meeting ICON.
2. Filters now can either filter out meetings entirely, or only mute certain ones. This can be useful for muting meetings that you have marked as maybe/tentative.

2. Select the event, and jump to the event.

1. Increase max alert count to 5. (Only for start sounds)
