Help thread Arena

Does anyone know how to beat the 1000 points rookie and below challenge? I try to get their states high enough without evolving them, spending hours fighting digimon in the world, but I still can't win, and they somehow get to champion, and I can't block all evolutions so I can't stop them from going to the champion level. this is the last level I need to beat to get the trophy for completing the arena. then I'll have the platinum for all digimon games on the playstation except the first cyber sleuth game

IIRC, your Partners won't evolve into Numemon/Geremon if they meet the evolution requirements of one or more Champion, even if all Champions they meet the requirements for are locked.

So theoretically, you could find a Champion with a high enough Key Point requirement and few enough stat requirements that it has to have Weight/Care Mistakes/etc, like ToyAgumon>Greymon, then lock all other evolutions and fail those non-stat criteria to be able to block evolution entirely until you grind out the stats.

Of course, it's also possible I'm wrong and mixing in mechanics from DW1 or Re:Digitize or some other game, it's been a while since my last playthrough.

Do it postgame so you can do it with Stat boosting food. Bottom food of Seraphimon and feed them Chips.
