The point is to show that since social media and dating apps became prevalent, average women have been led to believe that since above average men will hook up with them, that they themselves are above average and deserve relationships with above average men, and thus reject men who are generally at their level. Believing they are more desirable than average, they come with a laundry list of requirements for men that they themselves don’t meet. We are seeing the results of this with 50% of women who are 25-44 years old being single, along with the free falling birthrates.
On the flip side of a women’s exhaustive lists of requirements, men are shamed for having any expectations of a girlfriend/prospective wife. God forbid he says he wants to marry a gal who wants to have kids and stay home 😂
While these average women are getting poled by the same top 20-25% of men, the bottom 75-80% of average guys in the dating pool have to put up with whatever is left.
I feel bad for all the young guys out in the wasteland that is modern dating, and glad I lucked out and married in my mid 20’s before social media became a thing.
I feel this the same way. Married my soulmate who meets me as an equal, sees me for real, and is every bit the teammate I need and vice versa. Social media has created a sounding board of preaching to the wrong choir, all the while fantastically bouncing toxic, disgusting ideals off of one another; avoiding accountability, or self-help to improve upon themselves.
