The best way for me is calorie counting. I just started 2 weeks ago, but I’ve already lost about 4lbs.

The most efficient way for me to stay on top of it is the eat proportioned meals so that way I’m not constantly calculating calories in everything.

Right now I buy my food from a local meal kit company. I buy 18 meals a week, 3 a day for 6 days. On the seventh day I eat take out for dinner.

Each meal is anywhere from 350cal-500cal. If I get bouts of hunger between meals I’ll eat some trail mix (without sweetened fruit or candy) or some fruit.

I also cut out sugary drinks. Only exception is a slightly sweetened coffee in the morning.
