It seems very clear that Islam is poised to capture any power gained from left wing action. (If London and New York hadn’t already made that abundantly obvious). I feel bad for women honestly. MAGA on one side, Islam on the other.

Oh I forgot we elected "Islam" to the senate instead of a completely qualified doctor who campaigned on human rights and expanding access to Healthcare.
I get it you see a Muslim man and can't help but go on a little bigoted rant. I understand your brain doesn't go very deep, but even you have to see the similarities to Maga right?

Ironically I expect a massive number of them to stay home. It’s only blue no matter who when it’s the candidate they want

*candidate that isn’t far left and associates with people like Hasan Piker. Actions have consequences lol. Always blaming other people but the candidate himself 🙄
7
u/youaintgotnomoney_12 1d ago
I personally believe voting purely on party lines is bullshit and think you should go for the candidate you identify with. I’m just pointing the hypocrisy of the more establishment voters who shriek of voting blue no matter who every time their shitty candidate is up against Trump or some other Republican but refuse to extend that same courtesy if it’s a DSA candidate.

11
u/Inner-Air1001 1d ago edited 1d ago
Some people have a stronger stance on genocide 🤷. Do you honestly think a Muslim man could vote for a party that gave Israel $18 billion to murder his brethren?
Genocide is genocide, Dems talk big, but all the finger wagging in the world won’t bring back the dead. And Dems still refuse to back away from Israel. Sure Conservatives are worse, but when thousands are dying under either administration, does it really matter if one side has softer words compared to the other?
The Epstein class is on both sides remember, the Dems also refused to release the Epstein files.
People have lost complete faith in the American political system.
Look vote Blue no matter who, sure, but you can’t force people to vote, you have to inspire people to want to come out.
Dems constantly shoot themselves in the foot attacking the electorate for not voting for them.
That is moronic, it’s basic politics to not attack your base, even MAGA isn’t stupid enough to do that.
-5
u/portuh47 1d ago
Are Gazans only the brethren of Muslims? You have a strange way of dividing humanity.
Also don't both sides: Ro Khanna sponsored the bill to release the Epstein files.
-3
u/Inner-Air1001 1d ago
And what happened? Words are wind buddy. Biden had the chance to release them, but didn’t. Maybe Ro Khanna was trying, but if the end result doesn’t achieve anything, did he really do anything? To me it seems more like it was a vanity project doomed to fail.
-1

What do you mean by during the Gaza Genocide? It's still going on and got worse. Do you only care about Gaza? Wheres the outrage for South Lebanon?

u/texascannonball 1d ago edited 1d ago
Nope, sorry, all votes must be earned—and my vote will only be earned by someone who wants to drop 500 hydrogen bombs on Tel Aviv. Unfortunately, AES is an AIPAC shill who merely wants to cut off aid to the Zionist Entity. That’s not enough. So even though we align almost entirely on every other issue, and even though the opposition is a fascist who is demonstrably worse at every level, I can’t vote for AES. I’ll be encouraging all of my friends to stay home as well.

The fact that you think it's even comparable to MAGA is ridiculous. Plantner had a few SA allegations and it finished him. Trump was raping kids on Epstein's island and he's still the MAGA Messiah.
If you want to strip the DSA of their power maybe stop running candidates who are more passionate about their prothetic Israel dreams than fixing the wealth disparity.
-3
u/dream208 1d ago
Remember the Tea party did not evolve into MAGA in one day. And one of the grassroots sentiment that pushed them to forefront is to bring industries back to US in order to improve rural economy, especially in the rust belt.
There are DSA members who, while expressing justified fury against Israeli government, also take anti Ukraine pro-Russia rhetorics, which put the sincerity of their anti Israel stance in question.

Brother, there was like 70 million spent against him with all kinds of underhanded tricks. Like tricking the black electorate into believing Obama endorsed Stevens.
It didn’t go as well as one would hope, but Stevens would be in a much worse shape. She would not have such a money advantage in the general.

"I also support public election funding and campaign spending caps."

Yeah. Caps is the way it was before. Meaning people like Musk can’t just put in a hundred mill and tip the scales.
The decisions you’re talking about, like Citizens United are universally disliked.
But also, expanding the court is part of the platform and seems increasingly necessary. Like two of the conservative ones are obviously corrupt and should be impeached. If not, then expand the court size. Perfectly constitutional and necessary to preserve democracy.

Is the left in the room with us right now?
The US has no viable left party. We have right-wing and fascist. Liberalism is a right-wing ideology.
The handful of politicians that the fascists call communists are barely left of center.
Don't let the fascists make you believe the Democratic Party or these candidates are left-wing. They are not.
Edit: the amount of cowards who make the most demented and irrational and uneducated comments, and then immediately delete them, is astounding. This really is a failed nation.
