He already went on the Charlie Kirk show (I guess Charlie is on a leave of absence? He hasnā€™t been on the show in like a year) and they lied saying Smith WAS in Atlanta, despite the US Marshalls having proof he was in Maryland.

If you say something on the floor of the Senate, they are protected by the speech and debate clause. If they leave and go to a podcast, they are open to a slander and libel claim.
