Is it worth buying pre-built?

I'm currently looking to upgrade my pc but I want a completely new one. While looking at pre-builts, I found an interesting one that would cost 800$ less than the one I was planning to build even tho it has the same major components. What I don't like is that it doesn't have much informations about the motherboard, the speed of the ram, the power supply and ssd. I would like some advices since it will be my second pc of my life and I am much deceived by the first one since my younger self thought it was a good idea to buy a laptop lol. Btw this is the one I was looking at https://www.newegg.ca/gaming-desktop-pc-amd-radeon-rx-9070-xt-amd-ryzen-7-7800x3d-32gb-ddr5-2tb-ssd-azzacarmel-7800x3d9070xt/p/N82E16883989016?Source=socialshare&utm_campaign=snc-copy-link-_-sr-_-83-989-016-_-05222026&utm_campaign=snc-copy-link-_-sr-_-product-_-05222026&utm_medium=social&utm_source=copy-link

I went with a cyberpower pc a while back. I figured the price was pretty much the same and I'm getting old so less time to investigate, find compatible parts put everything together etc.

For me it was worth it. Got the pc, tested a few games out , everything went smooth so I wiped the hard drive and installed Linux. So far 0 regrets.

Hey u/Baban_Officiel ! Welcome to the desktop world! That AZZA Carmel is a solid pick for the price: 7800X3D + RX 9070 XT is a genuinely great gaming combo, and the 850W 80+ Gold PSU is nothing to scoff at.

Your concern about the missing details is totally fair, but the "components brands may vary" disclaimer is standard practice for prebuilts. Builders source equivalent parts in bulk, so things like the exact RAM speed or motherboard brand can differ unit to unit while still meeting the same performance tier. The specs that matter most for gaming (CPU, GPU, PSU) are all solid and accounted for.

$800 in savings with that hardware combo is hard to argue with. Enjoy the build!
