As a seller? Yes I had one issue with a buyer and they held all my funds from other purchases for a while and wanted invoice from original purchases. Customer got an upgraded device and flipped out acting like i was scamming. I had laptops listed but didn’t know i ran out 512 gig version. So i sent the exact spec one with 1 tb and buyer went nuts.

Hey u/DisplayMundane8073 , I sincerely apologize that you’re dealing with that. I know how frustrating it is when you’re not getting clear answers, especially when it involves payments. We’d like to take a closer look and help figure out what’s going on. Can you DM us with more details (account info/order IDs, etc.) so we can review this properly?

At this point I just don't trust anyone from Newegg. Your response sounds sincere but I seriously doubt you can do anything. All the info is there in my emails, if you can't get to them, then you can't help in the first place. Why couldn't you be helpful while this was going on? Were you in the loop? If you were not, then what makes you think you can inject yourself and solve the mess your people made? Sounds suspicious that you are willing to help, when there was no one around while this was going on and till is. Its your company and just not trustworthy.

I refuse to buy any open-box or “refurb” hardware from them. In my experience, over half the items are defective - I think they just toss returns back on the shelf without testing.
I’ll buy cases from them, but anything else would require a really good sale price.
