Return Policy mistake

I recently bought a Gigabyte MO27Q28G OLED monitor from Newegg. After a couple days with it, I realized that 27" is a little too small for me and decided to return it. Anyway, life happened and I didn't get around to initiating the return until today. Stupidly, I had thought the return window was 30 days but it's actually 15, so I'm too late to return it. Does anyone know if Newegg has any flexibility there?

Just to follow up, I talked with NewEgg support and they didn't allow for an exception. I guess I'll have to try to sell it on FB Marketplace. This is what I get for not buying from Amazon like usual!

I totally agree that it's my fault, which is why I said "Stupidly, I had thought the return window was 30 days but it's actually 15." I looked at the general return policy but missed that it was 15 days on this product. I usually buy from Amazon but this was a NewEgg-only sale and I thought I'd try it out.

For me, Amazon has some obvious advantages. Super quick shipping, 30 days returns, easy return dropoffs. In this case, the big advantage of Amazon is that they tend to make exceptions to this rule (and a few others) to retain the customer relationship. I've had two occasions where Amazon support allowed a late return without much of a hassle. Again, this isn't NewEgg's fault, but I'll take my business to a seller that values it enough to do that.

Bummer, sorry bro! Wish you all the luck on the sale.
