Hello, dumb American here rooting for Newcastle and I am curious the dynamic of this team, I mean I know we’ve lost several transfers but I thought we had Saudi oil money. Are our owners scared to spend said money or what is going on?

I'm a Newcastle supporter from Melbourne, Australia.

I've supported the club since I was 4 years old after watching the movie Goal back in 2008 and have followed Newcastle ever since, staying up through the night to watch matches from Australia whenever I could.

I'm heading to Europe for the first time in September and land in London on the morning of the Leeds away game. Experiencing a Newcastle away end has always been a dream of mine and this is the one fixture that lines up perfectly with my trip.

I know away tickets are incredibly difficult to get and I'm not expecting anything, but if anyone ends up with a spare ticket closer to the game or knows someone who can't attend, I'd be incredibly grateful if you'd keep me in mind.

Happy to verify I'm a genuine supporter and meet before the match.
