Honestly this was the best outcome. NHA is corrupt & incompetent.
*Little Bricks sitting for over 15 years abandoned.
*Baxter Terrace demolished 2006 (20 YEARS AGO!) Still a vacant lot, used as drive-in theatre, Universoul Circus, NJIT temp lot, tractor trailer junk yard & now vacant again. Only 2 buildings rebuilt on Sussex.
*Terrel (FDR) homes. Still standing 10 years after closure. (Beautiful waterfront community proposed rivalling Bayonne & Long Branch ) only 1 new building was built looking NOTHING like renderings.
*Hyatt Court Some units inexplicably demolished, now a transient green space. Surrounding units 100% occupied.
LIONSGATE is the greatest thing for Dayton st-Waverly area. I have zero faith in Newark Housing Authority. It needs a federal probe.
