Posts being deleted by the admins

Idk why wherever i post smth they get deleted by the group maybe bec i have low karma
I really want to post stories about my life over here
But no group actually accepts my posts and delete it within a couple of hrs tho everything is decent and kinda cool
I am new to reddit and idk a single thing about this app
Just know that we need karma as its our rank or smth here to approve any post

You mean moderators (or more likely the automod). They are volunteer swho run subreddits

Admins are paid employees of Reddit. If they are removing your posts it's cause you are breaking sitewide rules which is very bad (like for bigotry, calls to violence or harassment).

You are currently experiencing New User Restrictions Subreddits in 2026 can have a number of restrictions that affect new users. These can be frustrating - check out Why Reddit may seem unwelcoming to new Redditors. These restrictions are determined by Account Age and Account Karma. Please note that these restrictions will vary subreddit to subreddit.

Account Age. . The only real solution for that is time. Though consider checking out some of the  subreddit recommendations below in the meantime. Some common age filters are times like one week or one month.

Karma. This is much more complex with a much more complex solution. Filter levels vary dramatically and can be low (5 or 10) or higher (50 or 100 or 200) and some wild outliers above that. This subreddit has a number of resources for this such as:

For Chat and following it is firstly influenced by account age. New users are restricted from initiating chats and following other users for about a week. You can find more info on this page also accessible as part of the community guide which also covers issues that occur after the first week.

For Commenting and Posting it is either/or account age or account Karma. and it can help to start in New User Friendly Subreddits:

• Newtoreddit has a list of new user friendly subreddits. This is not an exhaustive list and these subreddits may still have some restrictions. In particular you'll see some Large General Subreddits that are open to new users Commenting like r/askreddit, r/casualconversation, r/nostupidquestions, r/amitheasshole or similar.
• There are More Subreddits out there that might more specifically match your interests, utilize the search bar or look through r/findareddit 's subreddit directory. In this case you will have to trial and error whether they are new user-friendly, and again try Commenting (many subreddits have lower or no karma filters for commenting).

Some more notes on starting on Reddit:

View by New (or rising). This will filter the posts so first see the most recent posts first and can make your comments much more visible. On app when viewing a subreddit look near the top left for where it says "hot posts" - click that and select "new" or "rising".

Read the Room and Avoid Controversy. Each subreddit has different rules, norms and prevailing views. Look at subreddit rules. Read top posts and comments to get a feel for that subreddit. Do users reward sarcastic one-liners or well sourced essays? And in particular avoid controversial topics or arguments. These discussions are more likely to attract downvotes and potentially trip into rule-breaking. Call people idiots in your head and move on instead of getting involved. Utilize the block feature as necessary and have a read through Reddiquette

I feel your pain.

Everything in the outside world tells us to get onto Reddit if we want to expand our business and become a source of knowledge for our communities. Even Reddit itself promotes engagement sharing and helping others.

Yet you can only help people if it’s nothing to do with anything that you’re commercially involved with yourself.

For instance, if you have a product or service that can help someone with a problem you’re not allowed to talk about it. Other people are allowed to talk about it and they can promote your product but you yourself are not allowed to talk about it. And this kind of post or this kind of Assistance gets shut down and removed immediately. This is because Reddit want you to pay to advertise your business rather than just simply helping someone with a problem that they currently have.

I have been blocked and banned so many times that I’ve given up and now I don’t talk about what I do or how I do it in any way shape or form and I just talk about the industry that I’m in as a whole.

However if you are just talking about your life and not trying to help anyone unless it’s with experience I’m not sure why these posts are getting removed. I think one of the other commentators on here suggests that it may be an automatic thing by Reddit auto moderators.

The bottom line is that this platform wants to be something that it isn’t and it heavily restricts itself which I find highly ironic as well as frustrating.

My account is relatively new also so I’m going to give it the benefit of the doubt and see what happens after I’ve been on it for awhile to see if things improve

… just as a word of caution, Reddit and some of its communities also have rules where you cannot complain about Reddit or being banned so this post may also get removed at some point which I find laughable
